Draft. This is the 2011 batch (wet hop pale ale), the 2008 should be removed from the title of this entry. Clear amber pour, with a sticky white head. Fresh hops in the aroma and flavor. Caramel malts, fruit, very bitter considering the abv, and grapefruit. Decent. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - APR 19, 2009
Draft at Ginger Man NYC. Poured a clear light orange color with a white head. Mixed fruits and candy dominated the nose. Light to medium bodied and delicately sweet up front. Crisp mouth feel. Moderately bitter with pine, fruity candy, and dark toffee flavors. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 26, 2009
Tap at the Blind Tiger. Cheesy, pineapple, cheddar and passionfruit in the aroma. Sweetish flavor, a touch skunky, more funky cheese, thinnish body, with a light carbonation. The cheese in the aroma is very overwhelming and weird. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 26, 2009
Tap at the Blind Tiger, NYC. Copper colour with a very thin head. Thin aroma. Sweet honey like flavour and texture. Smooth ale. Fairly bland overall. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 25, 2009
Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale golden amber beer. Thin white head. Aroma is a little bit hoppy and fairly fruity. Lots of estery sweetness. Lightly chewy with a bit of berryish character. Soft grapefruity hoppiness with some light fruitiness. It’s a little bit honeyish with some light resiny hops. It’s got a little bit of astringency and as it warms there is a fairly cheesy note that comes out.

Draft at BT, WOW fantastic aroma. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Tropical passion fruit, fruit punch and a light grapefruit character. Grapefruit body with some citrus and light pine to round out. Dam i got seconds. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2009
Tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a slightly hazy light amber- copper with a thin but lasting head. Aroma is at first when chilled- pretty stinky with a nutty and foot-like cheese- not quite blue cheese, but more of a slightly stinky footy goat cheese- then fruity hops try to come through but don’t make it through much until it warms a bit. Flavor is much the same- funky cheese and hops on the edges but things seem to mellow out and get nice as it is brought to room temp which unfortunately is when there is like 2 sips left. Strange beer, but I couldn’t get past the cheesiness when it wasn’t supposed to be there. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - FEB 4, 2009
On tap at Belmont Station. Pours amber with a soft white head. I think something was up with this, had a big cheesy hop smell to it, something was funky and just wrong. Cascade citrus notes throughout, doesn’t pick up the grapefruit as much as some, but maybe due to lots of wet hopping. Thin body, soft caramel up front, but the off flavors just dominated the finish. joshwilfong (1200) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - DEC 31, 2008
light colored straw appearance with mild white head. medium carbonation. little malt flavor noticed, but a nice hop bitterness and a fresh hop flavor due the wet hopping. the dichotomy between the light colored appearance and flavor is nice. a nice brew hapjydeuce (1001) - Carlsbad, California, USA - DEC 26, 2008
On tap at OBriens 2008 Wet Hop Festival weekend. A deviation from all of the IPAs sampled over that weekend. This one is a bit more simple. Decent Cascade aroma, but flavor is quite off with notes of Band-Aid and stagnant cheese. Quite strange, maybe spoiled.
