Pours orange copper. Moderate haze. Nose is tropical, gummy bears, interesting and nice. Taste is sweet candied orange, orange gummy bears, some malt, more orange. Not the most killer IPA but has a lot of good and interesting flavors that separate it from the pack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. no bottling date. Big nose of pineapple, tangerine, caramel, resinous dank herb. Hazy golden body with nice legs and some fizzy Sea Monkeys. Flavors of pineapple, dank herb, earthy caramel, garlic and orange zest. Near medium body has light-medium fizz and an easy drinking balance.

b3shine (9200) - Indiana, USA - JUL 19, 2017
Draft to pint at The Pint Room. Looks good; a hazy golden orange with eggshell head. Smells and tastes of fruity, piney, and bitter hops with a moderately bittersweet backbone. A bit of rye spice on the tongue as well. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly bitter. Enjoyable.

Aurelius (5590) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 17, 2017
Standard longneck, bad label. Brumous, peachy-tan pour with a stiff, lasting, cream colored head that clings to the side of the glass. Fresh, juicy, moderately sweet aroma. Biscuity and hoppy, pretty dry, mineral notes. Tangerine on the backend, very faint vanilla as well. Has a great mouthfeel, medium weight but chewy like the inside of a soft pretzel. Finish is a little pithy, with a jousting bitterness that lasts for a while. Really tasty and the assertive hops are well played. Distinctive. Kudos. Market Square Liquors.

Nice clean west coast IPA aroma. Good hop bite with a balancing sweetness in the aftertaste. Thick, silky and adequately carbonated palate. Bear Republic is a juggernaut at making IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

oobawa (1795) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Heavy-duty rye IPA, with a massive hop load and a long-lasting spicy rye finish. Mango, peach, and orange come from the hops, while mild biscuit malts provide modest padding for the blast of pine on the back end. Huge pine-dank nose with hints of wheat and citrus. Creamy texture makes this pint way too easy to put back. Good beer.

stevoj (5638) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Draft at the Yard House. Hazy golden pour, small skin of head, rings of lacing. Big, full hoppy aroma, fruity and dank. Taste is malty first, then eclipsed by a wave of dank , earthy hops. Complex finish, but it’s all there and recognizable. Worthy of it’s rep.

ABUSEDGOAT (2871) - California, USA - JUN 29, 2017
Cloudy golden color with floaties and a white head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, peach, some caramel. Medium bodied, big bitterness, peach flavor dominates with some caramel. A surprise to be sure, but a pleasant one.

hman43 (1812) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUN 21, 2017
It pours golden and clear with a white head. Head retention is moderate. The aromas are highlighted by citrus up front with tropical fruit and mango. Other aromas include low levels of rye. The flavors are highlighted by rye, tropical fruit, mango, and citrus. There are low levels of bread and very low levels of wheat in the background. The texture is smooth with a moderate body. The bitterness his high with a finish that is long lasting. Overall, this is a hop forward beer with a nice background support from the rye to give it a complex flavor.

Braudog (6852) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Draft at Yardhouse. I usually love Bear Republic beers. This one is light orange-amber. It doesn’t have a head to speak of, but is well laced. It’s super juicy-citrusy, almost like a lemon soda or flat-out orange juice. It’s a bit too off kilter for me. I’m looking for Annette Funnicello in an OJ commercial. (#6654, 6/14/2017)
