Tap at the California Brewers Showcase Festival. Pours hazy gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma seems quite citrus with a touch of earth/rye. Med +body. Flavor is very hop forward, making me think of cluster, its rather citrus/fruit/rye/earth and nearly dank. Wow!

Draft at Harrys Hofbrau. Pours a hazy yellow with full white head. The wheat is very much on display here with a spiciness that marries well with the hop flavor. Hops are tropical. Very bitter - which detracted from the beer.

On tap at the Faction Ales for ALS festival 2015. It pours a pale gold color with an off white head. The aroma is grassy and potent with orange and lemon. The flavor is equally good with more citrus, spice and florals. Very orange forward with good complexity in the nose and on the palate. This was one of the best IPAs out of the 30-40 I tried at the festival. Well done.

Draught @ Toronado, San Diego. Aroma has strong pineapple juice tones, some tropical fruits and candy. Flavour has minerals, pineapple juice, some tropical fruits and hints of fruit candy. Finishes with lingering bitterness. Rather juicy stuff.

Pours orange with a small foamy head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty grapefruit, citrus, pine, resin and grass. Taste is crisp, hoppy, grassy and juicy fruity with some zesty lemon, citrus, grapefruit and resin. Finish is hoppy, crisp and bitter with some grass, fruits and resin. Pretty tasty and balanced.

Pours clear golden color with a small head. Floral hoppy aroma with pine and caramel, grapefruits also. Flavor is fruity and lemony, resinous hops and pine, caramel too. Nice hop profile, very tasty.

Draught @ Toronado, San Diego, CA. Pours a hazy yellow colour with a firm white head. Aroma of fresh citrus, herbs and biscuit. Flavour of fresh crisp citrusy bitterness, pine, biscuit and white grapes. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Once again, fresh and enjoyable.

Had this on tap at GABF, and again at Brodys in San Diego. Pours a hazy orange color, with a tropical fruit nose. Flavor is just great - tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, all mosaic. Finishes slightly dank. Bear Republic needs to bottle this!

On tap @ The Cellar. Milky orange/peach colored beer with white foam. Super juicy citrus on the nose. Quite a bit of pine, some peach, and a light herbal note. Plenty of grapefruit, too. Really solid bitterness but not totally overdone. Great malt chewiness, citrus, and resin. Big time woody herbal qualities, too. Solid stuff.
