Pours orange with a small foamy head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty grapefruit, citrus, pine, resin and grass. Taste is crisp, hoppy, grassy and juicy fruity with some zesty lemon, citrus, grapefruit and resin. Finish is hoppy, crisp and bitter with some grass, fruits and resin. Pretty tasty and balanced.

Draught @ Toronado, San Diego, CA. Pours a hazy yellow colour with a firm white head. Aroma of fresh citrus, herbs and biscuit. Flavour of fresh crisp citrusy bitterness, pine, biscuit and white grapes. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Once again, fresh and enjoyable.

Had this on tap at GABF, and again at Brodys in San Diego. Pours a hazy orange color, with a tropical fruit nose. Flavor is just great - tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, all mosaic. Finishes slightly dank. Bear Republic needs to bottle this!

On tap @ The Cellar. Milky orange/peach colored beer with white foam. Super juicy citrus on the nose. Quite a bit of pine, some peach, and a light herbal note. Plenty of grapefruit, too. Really solid bitterness but not totally overdone. Great malt chewiness, citrus, and resin. Big time woody herbal qualities, too. Solid stuff.

On tap at Taps. Pours a slightly hazy yellow amber color with a bit of head. Huge tropical fruit aroma. Smooth. Tropical fruit flavors. A little harsh at the end as the hop bitterness lingers past the fruit.

On tap @ Chucks 85th. Pour medium pale orange, slightly hazy, with thin lacy white head. Aroma is light sweet caramel malt and juicy fresh citrusy hops. Taste is medium caramel malt with more heft than the nose; and big piney bitter hops. Lingers slightly bitter on the finish. Like the hops more on the nose, and the malt more on the taste. Just another excellent big citrusy IPA. Different from Racer 5, in a good way, but not quite ready to commit that sacrilege. Love new stuff from Bear Republic, they dont seem to score up IPAs.

Draught at the Bear Republic, Healdsburg, CA.
Slightly cloudy yellow golden colour with a small white head. Fruity sweetness, citrusy and piney hops, wood and dry maltiness in an excellent aroma. Yummy! Fruity, grapefruity and piney hops, dryness, bitterness and mild maltiness in the flavour. Tasty.

Draft pour at the Sixgill. Pours a semi cloudy golden color with a ton of head and lacing. Thick, cream body with a hop headlined aroma and flavor as expected. Nice piney finish. Pretty good IPA. What the hell is a hop shovel anyway?
