On tap at the Dallas Gingerman last November. Aroma is of malt, caramel, light nuts, toast, and toffee. Taste is nutty with biscuit, caramel and malt.

nimbleprop (8278) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - NOV 24, 2011
Growler from Big Z pours a transparent copper orange with a creamy white head. Nose is mild, malty, sweet fall fruit, a little metallic, some mild citrus. Flavor is also mild, sweet, apples, a little yeast, some lemon, a little orange zest. Finish is dry. Simple, crisp and drinkable.

blipp (9124) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 14, 2011
Draft. Pours copper amber with an off white head. Toasty malty aroma with some light toffee sweetness. The flavor is relatively clean, with sweet and toasty malts. Pretty good.

phaleslu (10099) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Draft at iTap-Soulard, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. One of a bunch of BR beers on tap as part of the "Farewell Missouri" tour. Aroma is fairly light, with toasted grains, grass, straw, crackers, and mild spice. Flavor is better, with toasted and sweet malts, cereal, and grassy hops. Light-bodied, with a malty, toasty, smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Good marzen.

hivemind (914) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Tap @ RnH w James. Crisp, dark orange pour with small white head. Aroma is clean with some light spice. Tastes of earthy vegetables, hop bitterness and cough drop. Finishes smooth with short legs - crisp as hell.

3.2
jredmond (8202) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Draft at Rattle with Brendan. Pours a hazy golden amber body. Aroma is light serete malts. Mouthfeel is okay with notes of sweet malts, spice, grains.

Zymurgeist2 (2179) - Redwood City, California, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Nice full malt aroma. Caramel. Clear deep orange with sustained, but small, head. Full chewy mouthfeel. Nice, but could be more interesting. Bitter spike on back palate lingers a little too long and makes it a little disjointed.

3.3
BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 12, 2011
On tap. Pours with a lightly hazed orange body with a lasting off-white head that leaves good lace. Aromas are grainy, lightly citrus (lemon), lightly herbal hops. No real melanoidin character. A bit hop driven, light bready notes from the malt. Flavors are malty, a bit of caramel and sticky malt notes. I wish it was a bit more vibrant, lively and crisp in character (water chemistry changes maybe?), Medium to lively bubbles, oddly heavy/fuller mouthfeel.

3.3
boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Tap @ the Dray... Pored rusty red with a thin head. Clean lager yeast that lent towards, minerally, woodsy, incense characters. Low bitterness.

3.3
DocLock (10647) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Draft at Craft. Pours turbid deep copper with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, resiny hops. Tastes rich, caramel malty at the forefront, with hops, mild tannins and brown sugary notes, and more late caramel maltiness that makes this one come off like a vienna lager mixed with a marzen.
