Draught at The Big Hunt. Amber-orange with a fluffy head. Light sweet toast aroma with some earthiness. Caramel, wet grain, and very subtle bitterness. A bit on the sweet side. Medium bodied. This tasted a bit sticky and under-hopped or under-attenuated, but was still alright. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2009
On tap at Maxs in Baltimore. Hazy orange in color with a off white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Hoppy malty aroma. Malty caramel flavor. Floral spicy notes. Medium bodied. Finish is spicy. Sweet tasting. Drinkable. Slipstream (2719) - USA - JAN 13, 2009
On tap at Rattle n Hum. Malty with some sharpness and sweetness. A full flavored Oktoberfest, one of the better ones I’ve had. egajdzis (6830) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2009
Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, grass, citrus fruits, earthy dough, and light toast. Taste of citrus fruits, toffee malts, fresh cut grass, and a dry, crisp finish. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2008
Tap at Barcade. Amber-coloured beer with a thin white head. Aroma is lovely. Lightly malty with a kiss of lightly spicy hops. Soft toasted caramel malt base and a clean, crisp hop profile. Soft dusty spiciness. Good balanced, soft noble hop character. Fresh and quite tasty.

Tap at Drafting Room in Springhouse. Pours cloudy orange amber with a smaller bubbly off white head that that laced. Aroma of cereal grains, Munich malt, light citrus, toasted malt and light metallic notes. Flavor of light cereal grains, toasted malt, light hop flavor and citrus notes. Draft at Rattle n Hum. Marzen is one of my favorite lagers. These hops are pretty damn spicy. Toasty malts and the hops intermingle to make a pretty damn good beer. Maybe a bit too spicy though. puzzl (3264) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 19, 2008
Tap at Barcade. Chewy, lots of cookie in the aroma, vegetal, closely German with an American touch. Prickly carb, sweet almond, pear cactus notes. German again in flavor, alt-like, sweet with some peanut notes. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - DEC 13, 2008
Tap at Barcade: Rusty copper pour with a thin off white ehad. The aroma has some spicy amber malts and a light lagered fruitiness. Rounded carbonation. The malt is upfront- with a spicy amber German character. There is also a candied sweet suggestion, followed by a peppery finish. Quite boring and one dimensional. I expected a bit more from this brewer.
