Hazy amber - gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet. Hops bring a pithy citrus. Mild tropical fruits. Spicy orange before a light finish. Nice enough.
Keg at The Pony Bar, NYC. Pours clear gold with a fine, white head. Heavy hop aroma, deep pine, light caramel, ripe grapefruit. Medium to big sweet flavor, soft toasty malts and toasty sugars, pine and thick citrus bitterness. Full bodied with average carbonation. Very subtle warmth in the finish, sticky pine and resins, sweet toast. Very juicy with slight bubblegum notes. Pretty tasty DIPA. fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 22, 2014

Cloudy light amber color with small head. There is some fruit in the aroma and flavor, strong bitterness, hop resins, orange peel, but not a distinctive character.
On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe for Hopfest, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits (pineapple and mango) and truckloads of resinous hops. Flavour is quite balanced with tropical fruits, resinous hops and a big caramel malt backing. Well-balanced and flavourful.

Hazy deep orange color, small white head. Rye-bready, piney-hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet, quite alcoholic, bready, piney. Lingering sweet malty fruityness in the aftertaste with some herbal notes.
On tap at Church Key, DC. It pours a dense finger thick off-white head over a clear, dark golden body. Peaches, pine cones, grapefruit peel and a nice maltyness in the aroma. It’s full bodied, lightly warming and pleasantly carbonated. Grapefruit, pine cones bitterness and a nice malty backdrop in the flavor. Lasting finish. Quite delicious this one. 150620 jtclockwork (16951) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Growler at Max’s tasting. Pours amber. White head. Nose and taste of hops, citrus and caramel malt. Some grassiness in the nose. Dry finish. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 25, 2011
A: The beer pours a clear orange-amber color with a nice finger or so of white head and a bit of sticky lacing.
S: Sweet citrus and fruit notes with a good amount of grapefruit along with some orange and pineapple. A mild pine aroma along with some floral hop notes and sweet malt (a bit of caramel).
T: As with the aroma, there is a pronounced sweet fruit character. Hints of grapefruit along with sweeter citrus like orange and tangerine. A mild booziness, unfortunately. A touch of peach, along with a bit of floral and herbal hops. Sweet malt/caramel is also there.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: There were nice aromas and flavors to this, but overall it was too sweet. bhensonb (15515) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours amber with a creamy beige head. Lots of hop over sweet citrus. Sweet citrus? Full bodied. Flavor is evergreen hop with sweet caramel. There’s a touch of heat. The flavor is extremely tasty. Words cannot describe.
