An amazing IPA- hoppy and full bodied without a harsh finish- has a fruity sweet aftertaste that perfectly compliments the bitterness. Tried this on tap at Angler’s Seafood House. One of five kegs in KS. 11/1/2009.

Pineapple and fruit on the front palate and super bitter on the finish. Nice progression of the flavors with at least three distinct flavors.

Slight amber tinted gold. Frothy, feel good head. The aroma is like a bouquet of hops. Citrus, bitter sweet, quick flavor. Small bitter finish. 110% enjoyable. A light IIPA? That’s up to you to decide.

Pineapple!! Pineapple turns in to pine finishes with bitterness. Cloudy and poor head. Fantastic palate, absolutely perfect mouth feel. Fruit salad tastes in the middle. The malt is fantastic too. One of the better DIPAs at the Bistro DIPA fest.

First pour from a growler filled today @ Charleston Beer Exchange, into a chilled Duvel tulip. Usual bright orange color typical of the style, with a short but dense head. Nose is just stuffed with fresh citrus, grapefruit of course but maybe some mandarin orange in there? Smooth almost creamy mouthfeel, tons of hop bitterness in the back. Lots of hops here, but very smooth drinking, not a sharp attack on the tongue or a resiny/oily feel at all. Great brew really, and at 8.7% this one drinks dangerously well. Skoal!

On tap at Toronado, SF. Gorgeous pour! Thick, creamy head. Deep golden body. Highly fragrent hoppy nose. Full bodied, smooth and velvety with a bit of a bite in the end. Very bitter, but not overpowering. Well balanced. Eminently drimkav

On tap @ Freshcraft on Halloween night. Clear darkish orange with a small white laceful head. Very citrusy floral aroma, delightfully tropical hoppy, bitter and resinous, yet sweet as well. Flavor was bright and big and citrusy and tropical, sweet with a grassy floral hop bite. Bitter but complex and refined. Some grapefruit, some resin, with a hefty balancing dose of caramel sweetness. Absolutely a joy to drink.

On tap at Brouwer’s for Hopfest, pours copper brown with a creamy all-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits - pineapple, mango, and prominent resinous hops. Flavour of lots of resinous hops, tropical fruits, burnt caramel, toasted nuts. Full-bodied, roasty and buttery. Really nice.
