Minimal aroma, initial biscut flavor with hop finish. Amber color, no head Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2010
Poured a slightly-hazed orange with a nice white head and pretty good lacing as it went down. Smell was very nice with a lot of sweet malt alongside some citrus hops. Taste was a little more subdued than the aroma, with the malt coming through more than the hops, which was somewhat of a disappointment knowing BR’s penchant for lovely hoppy beers. Medium bodied with good carbonation, and pretty nice drinkability.

On tap at the Hopyard. Want a sessionable beer that actually tastes like something? This is your beer! At only 4.8%. this beer borders on the IPA taste scale in terms of hops. Pours a clear brown with white head. Not very carbonated - but definitely not oxidized. Aroma is slightly fruity and grassy. For a bitter, this has some good hop florals. The flavor is a nice bitter with fruity notes in between the breadyness of the malt. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 10, 2009
Tap at Capones. Damn- thought this was an IPA- shit is nice and hoppy. Pours a lightly hazy copper with a nice massive frothy cloud-like head. Aroma is citrus, pine and orange-zest hops and a light caramel and toasty malt. Flavor seems bigger than the 4.6% but still is so easy to drink- citrus hops, resinous, light toast, toffee, and ok caramel- very nice hops all the way through and a very clean finish. Nice. egajdzis (6502) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2009
[Draft @ Capones] Poured a lightly hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, toast, pine, and toffee. Taste of citrus fruits, piney resin, toasted malts, sweeter toffee, and a dry, bitter finish.
