Tap @ Sierra. Pours a lighter amber hue with minimal head. Lighter citrus aromas makes this one already seem like a great summer brew. Palate is more medium bodied, entry to mid palate has mild hops, then moves to more of a granny apple in the finish. Very enjoyable. I was told it was an IPA when I ordered it, but thought it was not one only because of the hop profile not being as strong. Great summer brew! argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 12, 2011

On tap at Cloverleaf. Pours a copperamber color with a white foam head. Aroma of caramel with some spice. Sweet taste with english hop bitters and some spice. Decent. TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Tap @ Jake’s. Clear, light amber pour with a short white head leaving heavy lace. Dry, malty nose with a hint of hops. Medium body and fine, moderate carbonation that yields a pleasant mouth feel. Almonds, caramel, toast, tea, citrus - all light flavors that combined with the mouth feel make this one very sessionable.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2011 Draught at spikes. Amber with a slight haze and a good head. A little grapefruit rind and papery earth in the aroma. Bitter and hoppy flavor with a bit of astringency in the finish. Earthy and a bit papery. A little rough around the edges and perhaps a little old as well. Can’t say I’m a big fan of it. alobar (3800) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Clear copper color with an off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and sweet malt. Mild bitter flavor with little hops, but had some sweet malt and citrus. Very drinkable. JStax (6509) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - AUG 3, 2011
Poured on draft. Appearance is a translucent amber with a great head of sticky white foam that left the perfect rings of lacing that you only see pictures of. Aroma is sweet hops and a light malt influence. Taste is initially sweet hops giving way to a slightly dry finish. Bear Republic, you’ve done it again. wchesser (2076) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Draft. Decent bitter. More west coast hops than a traditional bitter. Good burger summer beer. scooterling (26) - S. San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 20, 2011
Decent bitter style ale. Reminded me ever so slightly of a lighter Red Rocket Ale. Poured a burnt amber color with a slight off-white head. Hops show up in the first sip and fade somewhat quickly.
