Sampled at Get Real NY, cask ale festival. Malt upfront with a nice spicy hop tang in the finish. Suttree (6484) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 20, 2010
Cloudy orange, not much head. Seems like an APA to me, I’m lettin’ you know right up front. Sweet malty notes with a piney, crisp hop finish. Tasty sessionable brew. JaBier (8156) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2010
Sampled at the brewpub on 8/6/10. Clear amber pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt and American hops. Malty flavor with some caramel and a light, yet crisp hop finish. Lyncham (251) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 29, 2010
Draft in pint glass. Citrus and piney aromas with a nice malty sweetness. Pale yellowish with a brown tint, hazy, white head. Taste of medium malts, very light carmel, with citrus and pine. Medium to light body with a medium thin texture and carbonation. Great bitter finish. Very drinkable. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 17, 2010
A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off.

(Old BA rate - tap)
Clear darker orange color; poured with an eggshell head that held OK; spiderweb lacing. Earthy hoppiness that’s pretty tame; sweetish malts; is that Ringwood yeast?; biscuity aromas. Hops are actually a bit fruitier than I caught in the aroma; lightly sweet malts; balanced comes to mind; bit of biscuit dough in the finish. Smooth and a touch creamy; medium MF; soft carbonation. Nice enough; balanced and smooth DeadGuyPerez (106) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2010

reddish brown with mild white head. citrusy hop nose. firm bitterness before citrus hop notes and a lingering toasty malt character. an effective version of an english bitter using american hops. the toasty malt notes really differ it from an APA. very nice Tmoney99 (14840) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 7, 2010
Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.
