From the Bear Republic Brewpub in Healdsburg, CA this came in the glass a clear amber color with a very small white head typical of a pub pour. Left good sticky lacing rings however. Nose was of caramels malts adn some grassy hops. Good clean mouthfeel. Flavor is somewhat bitter as is the finish. A very nice and easy drinking beer. Draught at brewpub. It is possible that this is the same brew as their Late Harvest Fest Lager although the last rating for that brew was in Dec-06. Contacted the brewer for clarification and will update accordingly. Faint aroma. Dark, clear amber body with very little carbonation. Slightly off-white head and excellent lace. Good hop punch with sweetness to balance. Malty finish. Nice beer! One of the best o’fests I’ve had.
