On tap @Papago, Az. Dark golden color. Pale floral aroma. Somewhat flavorfull, mellow on the palate. Has some sweet grassy notes. Aftertaste leaves a sour, bitter flavor. A step above some lagers, just needs more character. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 20, 2004
Draft @ the brewery. Yellow and clear, lime added by the server... light and crisp, kolsch-like with a sweet grass note... light, but flavorful. Consumed at 11am on our summer vacation while passing through... mmmmm. Weird that I'm against the grain on this one... IMO it was a well made lager. UPDATED: JUL 2, 2004 (Draft: Bear Republic Brewery in Healdsburg, CA) Light, thin and mildly bitter, the flavor lacks any malt character, so the mild corn is the dominant flavor here; It has more flavor than a Corona, but is just as unpleasant to drink; Smells like a cheap pale lager: corn, mildly sweet, no hops; Pale yellow color; White head fades to a sheen, leaving some patchy lacing that looks like vines hanging down motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 10, 2004

republic Brewpub. Gees, they make such great beer, so i guess this was a surprise, just a bland, slightly cleaner Mexican lager.
