Pours unclear amber. Small white head. Smell is pine, some fruits, bit bitter. Taste is bitter, orange hoppy, pine, corns in the back. Singularity (6369) - Blattniksele, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2015
650 ml bottle. Hazy deep golden with white head. Aroma malty, caramel, marmalade, light rye bread and hops. Taste is woody, a bit raw, pine, resin, marmalade, caramel, toffee, rye with a raw, woody finish. Nice! tmoreau (4743) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - FEB 18, 2015
Shared bomber poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold hue, with a bubbly layer of off white head foam, and spots of lacing. The aroma was sweet & fruity esters, floral perfume, then a seasoned/aged scent to the malt that seemed to combine with alcohol to form a BW scent. Medium bodied, with soft carbonation, the taste added a moderate, earthy bitterness that was mellowed some by a touch of malt & esters sweetness. Felt some alcohol, but altogether, didn’t come off as bold as I would’ve expected. scotchzombie (621) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JAN 31, 2015
From a growler off the tap at Hop Yard Raleigh. Pours clear orange-gold with a large soapy off-white head that leaves lacing and hangs out awhile. Aroma is very fresh - orange citrus, vanilla...
Taste hits with mildly sweet caramel malt and citrus before fading into strong pine flavors over a biscuity malt bed. Resolves into grapefruit citrus and quite a hoppy bitterness. Some notes of vanilla. Alcohol is reasonably well-disguised, though the finish is dry, bitter and pleasantly warming. Much less sweet than a typical American DIPA. Hit me like a ton of bricks too. Bottle. The pour is a bright vibrant orange. The aroma is strong sweet hops, bold and inviting. The taste is top notch. The hops blend perfectly to give a great taste with little bitterness that is welcome.

1/22/15. 22oz bottle from the FWB Chan’s. Generally speaking, I feel like this could be hoppier, maybe fresher... I don’t have the bottle in my hand, but I saw it was "best by" sometime in mid-February when I poured. It was sitting out on a room temp shelf, though. Hazy orange pour with a nice off-white head, great lacing. Still a nice aroma, just a little more biscuity/crackery than I was expecting. Otherwise a nice hop aroma, pine, lots of citrus, candied orange peel - it doesn’t punch you in the face (at least this bottle), which is almost a nice change of pace from all the EXTREME hops out there these days. Nice flavor, again more malt presence than I was thinking, crackery/biscuity, lots of grapefruit and orange, some pine lingers. Alcohol is hidden well, though the mouthfeel is plenty rich and hints at it being a double. Tasty! williamstome (2038) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 22, 2015
Orange pour, small white head. Aroma is pine, citrus, bit of malt and pot. Flavor is caramel, pine, grapefruit, orange, and pot. Sweet and hoppy, well balanced. hawthorne00 (4195) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle, 10C. BB 24/3/15. Slightly hazy amber with a fluffy cream head that lasts and laces well. Aroma of nectarines, orange, grapefruit, bread, a slightly boozy menthol note. Just getting towards sticky, lowish carbonation. Sweet with some caramel, but mainly stone fruit and bread with citrus, some tropical fruit and creeping pine. Dries out a little at the end with very firm but not harsh bitterness. Another really good one. high_on_hops (809) - Burlingame, California, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Pours a solid gold with an off-white head and lots of lacing. It has a great aroma of resin, pine, and lots of malt. The flavor is strong hops up front with a malty backbone and bittersweet finish over a medium-heavy body.

On tap at City Beer. Wow on the nose, a bit rough on the tongue but all in all a top end double IPA.
