Draft. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Light nutty sweet malty aroma with some grainy hints. the flavor is balanced and relatively clean, with pale malts, some nutty sweetness, a hint of earthiness, and a light bitterness. Good stuff. Maverick34 (3286) - New York, USA - APR 26, 2011
Draught from R&H Pours a brown, a bit more flavorful and nutty than your classic alt with a fair amount of earthiness to finish. jredmond (8517) - New York, New York, USA - APR 23, 2011
Draft at RnH with Andrew, Streets, and Kyle. Pours a clear amber body with slight haze, no head. Aroma is sweet german malts. Mouthfeel is thin with standard malty notes, nothing crazy. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - APR 8, 2011
Growler filled at Big Z and consumed later the same day. Pours a deep amber brown that allows light to pass with a moderate tan head that lasted until mid-glass and left considerable lace. Pleasant aroma of malt. The flavor is primarily malt followed by some moderate hops bitterness. Medium bodied. No problems.

EJ Phair on tap. Strong sticky malt. Light on the hop flavor but pretty heavy on the bitterness. Noticeably, but not necessarily negatively, sticky in texture, this has a whole bunch of good malt in it, but maybe too much.
