On tap @ Downtown Johnny Brown’s: Appeared a neon glowing yellow liquid with no covering of foam except a tiny O-shaped ring. Aroma is mild but is just too faint for me to smell due to all the hot dogs and buffalo wings being served at and around my table as the Aztecs lost to Oklahoma. Some quality yeast was used, though, the flavor is extremely sour and the taste is intense as if I had just took a bite out of a lemon, but the yeast is truly interesting and builds the character of this beer. There is also a semi-sweet taste of sugar as if I’m eating sour patch kids or sour skittles. Okay stuff but I might have enjoyed it more if it was during hot summer days instead of a cool and breezy 3rd day of Spring. gnomungus (89) - - JUL 1, 2014
Clean smell with fresh lemon. Flavor is strongly lemon with some green grape and apple moving into subtle, yeasty wheat. Finishes clean. Great berlinerweiss. williamstome (2038) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Green-gold pour, no head. Bad start. BUT THEN! Tart raspberry/apple/wheat aroma, giant sour flavor of lemon, apple and vingar. Tart, puckering, sharp. kilgore84 (11) - San Lorenzo, California, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Dry fruit aroma. Slightly cloudy, chardonnay-like appearance. Nice tart taste. Good sour overall. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2014
Draft into a tulip. Super hazy hay. No head. Super funk, tart aroma. Taste is puckering, citrus, wine. Super crisp and refreshing.

On tap at BRU for PBW. A sour fan’s dream. Perhaps the most sour, tarty beer I have ever sampled. Pours a pale golden color with a slight orange hue. Vinegar on the nose and palate. Not really complex but simply tarty tart. Drinkable even for a someone like me who doesn’t have sours high on their list. Ferris (17120) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 22, 2014
Draft - Sweet and sour lemon, almost an herbal nose as well. Pale hazy gold with no head. Puckering lemon tartness. Much tarter than style dictates, but absolutely great. Marheb (6336) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 4, 2014
Un verre à 13$ chez Kush Wynwood. Aucune effervescence, plénitude lactique avec des bonnes intentions boisés, assez vineux. Des fruits se manifestent derrière l’acidité, principalement la carambole. Zymurgeist2 (2440) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 22, 2014
On tap at Gourmet Haus. Pours a hazy deep yellow with full white head. Aroma and taste are both massively tart with a cotton candy like aspect to it. A little one-sided in the tartness and unbalance for what I really like as a delicate and difficult to brew style. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2014
Hazy, light. Oooo, tart, clean, tart, quite fruity wheaty and with nuance. I like it.
