On tap at BRU for PBW. A sour fans dream. Perhaps the most sour, tarty beer I have ever sampled. Pours a pale golden color with a slight orange hue. Vinegar on the nose and palate. Not really complex but simply tarty tart. Drinkable even for a someone like me who doesnt have sours high on their list.

Draft - Sweet and sour lemon, almost an herbal nose as well. Pale hazy gold with no head. Puckering lemon tartness. Much tarter than style dictates, but absolutely great.

Un verre 13$ chez Kush Wynwood. Aucune effervescence, plnitude lactique avec des bonnes intentions boiss, assez vineux. Des fruits se manifestent derrire lacidit, principalement la carambole.

On tap at Gourmet Haus. Pours a hazy deep yellow with full white head. Aroma and taste are both massively tart with a cotton candy like aspect to it. A little one-sided in the tartness and unbalance for what I really like as a delicate and difficult to brew style.

Hazy, light. Oooo, tart, clean, tart, quite fruity wheaty and with nuance. I like it.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2014 Stone Sour Fest 2012. Very neat, mostly to-style berliner with graininess, lemony spritzy quality, very drinkable, great for a hot outdoor beer festival. A bit sour...not as good as remember.

Draught at Green Street, July 2013
Lightly hazy appearance is a soft golden yellow with an initially large white head that recedes steadily to cover.
Lovely lactic notes in the nose are quite pungent, as wheat pinches in on the corners giving some cream and nuttiness. Very good strength of aroma and it seems quite complex in its variation on acidity, with wine-like notes, acetic notes and very light mustiness.
Strongly acidic up front, it softens some as the wheat and wood tannins catch up and provide something for all the acids to sink in to. Ample, almost creamy mouthfeel propelled on by an engaging carbonation that never gets loose or fizzy. Cheese, yogurt, light vinegar and a long drawn out lactic finish that allows a touch of sweetness in as it warms. Awesome stuff, glad they sent some out this way.
