sampled at FOBAB 2009... pours a muddy dark brown with reddish brown edges.... sour lacto milky vinegar with sour grapes aroma... flavors much atune to a sour brown with tart vinegar aspects. some sweetness and cherries intertwine with a spiced-up finish. medium mouthfeel with a smooth body and semi-lively carbonation....i must have liked this one seeing that i actually have notes at this point. topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - MAR 1, 2010

This is a great beer. This was one of the best beers I had at the festival.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and complex Belgian yeast fruity. Sweet fruity yeasty and with a nice roasted malt flavour. Very fruity yeasty. Lasting fruity phenolic and sweet finish.
