Don’t be fooled by this innocent beast. Handcrafted by the Bear Republic Brewing Team this Belgian Brown incorporates a trifecta of sugars including our homemade candied syrup. Wild and untamed this full bodied beer starts out sweet and finishes with notes of cloves and nutmeg. Enjoy in moderation; tread lightly!

Tried it at the brewery... Dark brown color, and slightly sweet taste with flavors of bread, molasses. First belgian type beer ever tried from Bear Republic. Drinkable, but nothing exciting.

Dark reddish brown. Sweet molasses and brown sugar aroma and taste with a sticky palate and finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark opaque brown with a beige head. Yeasty, brown sugar, molasses and pear aroma. The flavor is sweet and yeasty, with brown sugar, bubble-gum, and clove spiciness. Thick and sticky body. Overall just on the sweet, sticky, yeasty side. Drinkable, but could use better attenuation.
