Draft as "Bear Republic Wine Country Wheat". A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat as well as light notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish. anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2010

Sampled at the brewpub on 8/6/10 as Wine Country Wheat. Hazy gold/orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma of banana and peppery herbs. Banana and herb flavor with pepper and a semi-sweet finish. carboloader (674) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2010
On tap at the brewery. They called it "Wine country wheat." Resembles apple cider in color. Cloudy peach. Nutmeg spice, tastes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Very smooth and drinkable. Delicious, and I don’t really care for wheat ales.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 Tasty fresh and bright wheat flavor. The yeast flavor is fantastic. It is a bit too light on the finish. I believe that "Wine Country Wheat" is a different beer than the normal hefe, but I could be wrong...have had both and had noticeably different notes. (Old BA rate - tap)
Poured with a thinner, but frothy pure white head; very light greenish yellow color; clear with a little rising carbonation. Lightly yeasty; lemons; and a bit grassy in the aroma. Cereal grain; yeastiness; light hop kiss at the end. Thinner to medium MF; soft and subtle carbonation; little chalky. Good enough, and easy to drink and would be a lawnmower brew for me. Overall, not the best example of the style and seemed more like an American Wheat to me Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2010
Tap at BT. Pours a light hazy light orange-yellow with a decent pure white head. Aroma is orange zest, minty peppery phenols, lemon rind, lemon lime soda, slight saltiness, with doughy wheat and light ester. Flavor is wheat malt, crackery, dough, pine, lemon, clove phenols, a slight bubblegum hint, crisp and a touch thin with the dough in the end, mineral and vanilla in the end. Ok. On draft at Bear Republic Brewing (Healdsburg, CA): Pours a hazy yellow/golden and topped with a thin white head. Nose of buttery banana bread, cloves, and lots of sugar. More of light spices (basic clove, pepper, coriander) in the taste over fruity esters. Other notable flavors include: earth, grass, and toasted grain. Drinkability: More wheat than hefe. Pairing: California sushi roll. Rebuy: Ok. #363 on 31032010. DG. Plovmand (8532) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2010
On tap at The Rake, London. Cloudy orange body witha creamy dense white head. The aroma is banana, hops and light citrus. The flavour is peach, banana, candy and hops. Bit weird.
