Herbal hop malt aroma. Clear red amber colour good head & lacing. Malt herbal spice hop flavour. Thin palate.
Bottle from the Bearded Dragon, Tambourine. Smells like a farmhouse fruit bowl of sweet citris, ginger, passionfruit, melon, pine, caramel malts, and orange liqeur. Pours a beautiful ginger with big frothy off white head. Laces well all down the glass. Background caramel malts are well balanced serve with floral hop bitterness. Very smooth. Big malt sweetness upfront with light alcohol heat at the end. Hints of spice, sultanas and toffee. Big change in flavour and mouthfeel with serving temperature. 500mL Champagne bottle from Yarragon Ale house.
Big beige head atop a hazy copper body.
Moderate sort of nose to it - faint tropical/exotic fruity hop notes of lychee & guava, toasty malts, touch of brown toffee & red fruits.
Body is surprisingly not too heavy for strength, nice touch of creamy maltiness, moderate carbonation.
Malt dominant sort of body - biscuit, slightly browned/toasted nut & biscuit thing going on, some red fruit character (esters?), with this underpinning very floral, aromatic, tropical & herbaceous hop note that might have been more prominent at some point (old bottle?). Bitterness is reasonably high, drying finish to counteract malt sweetness.

Tugun Cellars. Out of the fridge for half an hour so around 10C Deep orange red, huge open head. Sweet, lots of orange zest, herbal, spicy, mild pepper, a perfect malty sweetness and a wonderful full body.......these guys make great beers...........a delicious beer,

Pours a dark amber almost brown with a fine tan head. Nose is hoppy with slight caramel. Flavor is sweet with some light coffee, grapefruit. Strange flavor for a red ale, but tasty. Bottle. Dark amber with an inch of light beige head. Aroma of toffee, bread, flowers. Creamy texture, medium-high carbonation. Fairly sweet with loads of toffee, some sticky bread crusts. Pine, grapefruit and some pepper and mace creep up towards the long bitter finish. Solid, hearty beer with hops shining more at the end than at the beginning.
