Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Very dark brown pour with a tan head that diminished to leave a lingering rim. Aroma had a decent amount of roast, with notes of hazelnut, dark chocolate, dark fruits and trace car tyre. Slid down nice n’smooth. Further chocolate, fruits and roasted malt in evidence flavour wise. Dry bitter finish. A very drinkable and tasty stout. Nice one.

Cask conditioned at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 02-03-09 Pours dark brown with a slight reddy glint. Really rather tasty beer, ok its a touch thin at times for the abv but there is some chocolate and a nice dryness there which I rather liked. A6 A4 F7 P3 OV14 3.4

Cask at ealing beer fest. Aroma is pritty roasty, but generally thin and grassy hop. Taste is similar, its fairly inoffensive and drinable, but could do with some choc malt.
