Tastes just like a larger to me. Some flavour of bitter hops that stays on the palate coffee a while. zacgillbanks (5174) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2013
Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Team Valley. Amber coloured with marzipan, caramel and floral hoppy flavours with a smooth citrus finish. imdownthepub (14552) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2013
Bottled, 500ml (5.5%) from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Gold to amber with white head. This was a light, fruity beer, sweetish malts, lightly roasted, some cereal. The hop is again fairly fruity sweet, floral and light. Overall a decent enough bottled beer benefiting from an interesting tale on the bottle. dogbomb (1217) - ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2013
Bottle. Deep gold with a decent white head. Malty light caramel nose with a whole bunch of lemony-lime overtone. Nice warm bitter in the mouth, some light caramels, a little saltiness, more lemony-lime bitters. Finish is dry and crisp with a nice bitter. joe19612 (2925) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2012

Bottle pours a clear amber with a slim persisting white head. The aroma has a fruity hopiness. Taste is a nice mix of subtle fruit flavours, malt and bitterness; all in all very drinkable. martinrumsam (565) - BARNSTAPLE, Devon, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2012
bottle pours orangey old gold with vibrant white head that stays . bold resinous pine fragrant aroma . taste starts muted , slightly sweet and malty then the hop bitterness kicks in a la IPA . Long lingering IPA style finish . quite full carbonation ok but a bit one dimensional DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2012
Bottle in Spainsbury’s beer-off. Bright orange-gold with a slim white head retreating to the edges of the glass. Good buttery orange, wine gum, US IPA peachiness, Lockets, slight leafy nose. Soapy throatsweet, stale sherbet, peach iced tea, chipshop battered sausage batter, flowery, Sheps/Alesmith IPA flavour. Not for me. ianwelby (1385) - SCOTLAND - OCT 1, 2012
This is a pleasant enough beer but it suffers from not having one strong flavour. There’s a malty, sweet aspect with a bitter, hoppy edge but nothing really stands out. It could have been great if it wasn’t trying to do a bit of everything. rauchbier (3889) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2012
Bottle, from Sainsburys Hessle. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Pleasantly hoppy nose with hints of grapefruit citrus and a suggestion of celery, along with gentle grainy malt, Quite dry in the mouth with a dominant hop bitterness that dissipates to allow a sweet maltiness to gain a foothold briefly before the hops return with a vengeance in the finish leaving a lasting spicy tingle in the back of the throat.
