My Bottom Line: Crockett (1133) - Southampton, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2017
Deep cereals are ridden by citrusy, floral hops in this seductive IPA.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam laces all around the misty dark golden.
-Earthy hop resins provide a solid backbone with parcimonious bitterness.
-This may feel sweeter than the average IPA, but it remains very drinkable.
-Malts offer plenty of honeyed and biscuit notes.
Pours straight clear gold, with some particulate in suspension, and a rocky/heavily lacing head. That gets a perfect score for looks. Nose isn't crazy. It's mostly just some mild piney hops, toasted malt, and traces of burnt sugar. Very unassuming. Mouthfeel is ample. Flavour is better than what the aroma suggest, although still along some of the same lines. It's not an "in your face" IPA. Alcohol is hard to locate through the nose/palate, but the beer is warming at 6.7% ABV. Earthy, minerals, peach and astringent teas. Notes of honey. Malts are evenly medium toasted and very clean. It's not hop-forward, but the malt profile helps to keep it quite balanced. A bit of medicinal/herbal hop rolls through the finish, with a slight white pepper heat. Still, I cannot figure out why Lugtread is their flagship. This is light-years ahead of that. the sauger (119) - La Pocatiere, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 3, 2017
Bouteille de 600ml. Couleur blonde avec un joli col blanc. Arôme d'orange, de mangue et de houblon. Goût d'orange, de pamplemousse, de fleur, de banane et de houblon. Très bonne IPA équilibrée et bien dosée.

Bottle @ Malt & Mold tasting. Clear golden with small foamy whitish head, citrus pineapple aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter citrus-peach-pineapple flavor, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Very good brew. Kauge (2127) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 6, 2017
Bottle from LCBO. Translucent golden-amber with off-white head. Pleasant citric notes, resiny. Very flavoursome. Crisp and easy-drinking. A very nice IPA to finish off a long day! Raistlin (476) - London, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2017
pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, light dankness and some citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, bringing out pungent dank, piney hops upfront, with a little citrus, some herbal like character and biscuity malt to back. Rather pungent and aggressive, but it works well. pushkinwow (2910) - Ottawa, CANADA - OCT 1, 2017
On tap at the Rooster. Cloudy golden pour with a frothy white head. Grapefruit pulp, resin, some light pineapple, moderate body and strong carbonation, slightly dry, bitter and some booze on the finish. azzurro (459) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2017
As I started to give a 50/50 chance of having a good beer from this brewer, this one is on the +side. Easy going, and full flavoured. A keeper.
