From 600 ml bottle in tulip. Slightly hazy orange pour with a beautiful white head. Lots of lacing. Nose is fruity with passion fruit, mango and grapefruit. Fruity sweetness. A hint of herbs. Very complex taste. First some herbal tea notes followed by a heathland flavor. Feels like being up north. All very dry and backed up by a tropical fruit body. Light malt profile. Very pleasing experimental beer.

Corps faible a moyen, Carbonation moyenne. Une bonne bire mais sans plus!

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2014 600ml bottle from the LCBO. Hazy gold body with cloudy thick head. Hop aromas are at the forefront, for sure. Herby floral notes. Great lacing, a few flavours I cant place. Really enjoyed it.

Draft - Floral, grapefruit and herbal notes. Cloudy gold with a frothy white head. Bitter grapefruit rind and herbal notes. Not bad, but herbal bitterness is a bit much.

Au nez, on sent vraiment le côté poivré des baies scandinaves. Le goût est bien épicé avec des notes de genièvre. Légèrement amère aussi. La finale persiste assez longuement et est très agréable. Belle collaboration! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a weird beer for me. First few sniffs and sips were surprisingly hoppy. Fresh flowers and citrus, pine, lots of APA notes. Thereafter the beer settled into something that was much more like what I was expecting: sweet malt with spice and dried flowers, almost like tea. Taste is pleasant: sweet and spicy, with the same floral/tea-like element from the nose. Finish is a nice mix of dry pine and alcohol warmth. Overall very drinkable, though it would be nice if that early hop profile stuck around a bit longer. Not sure if letting it breathe would help or not.

Bottle from the LCBO. A glowing copper with a solid head of foam. A lovely fruity & herbal hop bouquet. Very soft velvety mouthfeel. The taste is a simpler woody pine bitterness with a bit of residual sweetness from the malts.

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Hazy pale gold, lively white head. Aroma is more hoppy than anything (I think I was expecting more of a wit-bier aroma for some reason), and to be honest I have no idea how yarrow or sweet gale should smell or taste. Biscuity pale malts, unripened mango, nettles/grass. Finish is bitter and dry. I would never guess this is anything other than a well made American pale ale, but I mean that as a compliment.

60 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Slightly hazy gold, thick head. Caramel and resin aroma. Bright and sweet, then a peppery vanilla finish.
