An amazing balance of surprising ingredients. From yarrow to sweet gale to flowers tastes, this make the beer an incredible mix. Very distinct from the others.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2014 600ml bottle from the LCBO. Hazy gold body with cloudy thick head. Hop aromas are at the forefront, for sure. Herby floral notes. Great lacing, a few flavours I cant place. Really enjoyed it.

Herbal, floral and a little bit sweet in the nose. Hazy blond body is topped by a decent, white, fine-bubbled head that lasts well. Flavour offers the herbal and floral notes from the aroma but has a deep, almost sour, bark-like, woody undertone with notes of rye and crisp bitterness. Very refreshing medium light body with pleasant effervescence. Yes, please. Ill have another. Bottle at just above fridge temperature from the LCBO on Danforth at Brimley.

This pours with a fluffy white head on top of a slightly cloudy, medium to dark amber body. It has a very pleasant hoppy aroma that also has fruit and floral aspects. All of the ingredients give it a complex character, but not overly so. Its a crisp and slightly dry but quite refreshing beer that you can just sit back and enjoy. Its very easy to drink, feels good to the palate and has a very pleasing finish.

Beardbeerman (341) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 27, 2016
Pours a foggy golden topped by a thin fizzy white head showing low retention, and leaving some rare spotted lacing. Very low carbonation. The nose is both fruity and floral with strong pineapple, peaches, grapefruit and heather. Likewise for the taste, though the heather is pretty proeminent. Medium-low mouthfeel but nice palate covering bitterness. Finish is floral with a grassy shift at the end. This is one dry and refreshing fruity ale. Pretty interesting. Cheers!

Lagerboy (2051) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2014
600 ml bottle. Clear deeper orange, firm off-white froth settles and lasts. Pungent herbal floral aroma with some c-malt. Taste is very Gaelic, heather, rose hips, a hint of treacle, pale c-malts, evergreen burps. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Crisp and dry, delightful. From 600 ml bottle in tulip. Slightly hazy orange pour with a beautiful white head. Lots of lacing. Nose is fruity with passion fruit, mango and grapefruit. Fruity sweetness. A hint of herbs. Very complex taste. First some herbal tea notes followed by a heathland flavor. Feels like being up north. All very dry and backed up by a tropical fruit body. Light malt profile. Very pleasing experimental beer.
