COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wild Oats Series #27. An unfiltered beer brewed with sea salt, coriander and a hint of subtle acidity post fermentation. Aromas of citrus, and slight tartness to taste leads into a curiously salty mouth-feel.

My Bottom Line:
This balanced Gose is the theater for precise coriander, delicate salt and softspoken cereals in an effervescent mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty gold orange.
-This is quite quenching.
-The dosage of every component is quite nice.
-This was delicious with a black olive pizza.

Bottle.

Hazy gold, taste is wheaty, not too sour, light bodied, slight saltiness. I am not finding it intense enough for my preference, but it’s not bad, fairly light.

Correct. (Lot 4551 Emb. 27 sept 15) (1663-211115)

600 ml bottle from the Octoberfest pack.

Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow colour with not quite a finger of white head. Average retention and a bit of lacing.

Aroma: Salt and brine.

Flavours: Lemon, biscuit, salt.

Mouthfeel: Thiner with average carbonation.

Overall: This was quite a nice beer and similar to Beau’s Opa’s Gose. The salt and sour flavours come on strong and work well together.

J’aime beaucoup leurs étiquettes... Pour la bière en tant que telle, je l’ai trouvé correcte mais le sel et le citron auraient pu être plus présents encore. C’était très sucré pour le style aussi, sans être fruité.

Part of the Beau’s Oktoberfest Mixer Pack Smells like a Wheat Beer, only sour. Pours a cloudy gold colour. Unfiltered. Little to no head. Taste is similar to a Wheat Beer, only with a sour note. A little bit of citrus and salt flavour too. Little carbonation. Sour aftertaste. Overall I was glad I tried this beer. Having said that I will not be purchasing again. MB

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color gose with a large foamy pure white head with good retention. Aroma of light tart notes with light wheat malt is more bland than I was expected. Taste is alight mix of tart notes, light lemon and some wheat malt. Body is light with good carbonation. Not bad but lack a bit of complexity.

Tap sample at The Beer Experience in Toronto. Hazy pale orange with a tiny scattered head. Nose... not much... a certain dank saltiness. That’s all, really... Flavour’s pretty unconvincing, I don’t get much salt, much acidity. Watery with active carbonation. As it warms, I start getting the acidity, it’s like some light apple juice sourness. Later on... ugh, vegetal, pea notes... Huge disappointment. Must be better in hot weather I guess. What’s the ABV, like 2?

Bottle. Slightly cloudy straw yellow pour with a thin white head. Very subtle tartness with slight citrus and salt. Pretty tame but decent.
