I love it just for being so different. Nice light malt up front, maybe a hint of caramel (not much). Middle is more like dark fruits (plums, maybe even prunes). Finish is almost minty. Light in the mouth with almost no carbonation. Very interesting beer. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle. Amber with not much head. Smells and tastes kinda like spruce beer. Pretty well done. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - APR 26, 2015
600 ml bottle. Pours a clear orangeish light amber with a short lived white head. Aroma is caramel, wood and spices. Flavor is caramel, pepper, oak. Finish is somewhat herbal. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel and average carbonation. Niall73 (2432) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 17, 2014
Tap. Pours dark amber with a white head. Light aroma with lemon and caramel maltiness. Medium body medium carbonation. Wood, light pine, lemon caramel... Nice askance. Good.

Appearance : Hazy amber with no head.
Aroma : Spices and fruits with some malt. Nice yeast with nice banana bread notes.
Taste : Spices with light bananas. Finish has nice notes of banana bread. Light bitterness.
Overall : Nothing to write home about but quite good. Nice banana bread notes. I thought this was a weizen.
750 ml bottle shared by jessem. thx for the share jesse! the was an odd ball! weird spicey sweet mix both in the flavour and the aroma. not at all drinkable but not poorly brewed. the belgian yeast profile didnt go un-noticed, neither did the myrtle. Bottle from LCBO. Pours cloudy and brown. Pretty nice aroma; reminds me of a Belgian ale; full of pepper and other spices. Taste is too sweet, very herbal, and spicy... maybe a general "vegetable" taste in there too. Feels a bit thin, and carbonation a bit too high. Not a fan of this one.
EDIT: getting near the end of my glass, and the beer has warmed up. Now I smell some farmyard animals in there, and taste it too. Adjusting my score to average out my initial impressions with my final impressions. punkska101 (2030) - Chambly, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 4, 2015
600 ml bottle from les arpents verts A: herbacy, with some earthy notes, red fruits. app: clear reddish brown with thick and lasting white head. Good lacing. T/p: med body with light acidic finish. Moderate high carbonation. O: good. Not a fan off gruit beers. This one is in the upper range of the one I had before.
