COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amped up gruit incorporates some classic herbs such as bog myrtle and some lesser seen ingredients like labrador tea, and thyme. Grandmaster OG pours deep gold with white foam. An assertive sweet, floral, citrusy and somewhat piney aroma is displayed. The flavour is herbaceous, mildly sweet and slightly peppery. Grandmaster OG is medium-bodied, lightly tannic and has a lingering, herbal finish.

Kind of bronze in colour, very herbal, smells weird. Taste of thyme, sweet beer, like a olden with the yeast characeter. Texture is thick for a golden, but not quite full bodied. Decent.

(Rating #7307)

On tap at Hunah Day. Pours a cloudy gold with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is earth, floral, citrus. Medium body, pepper, citrus, floral, light finish, very good.

Picked up a bottle at the brewery. Pours a huge frothy eggshell white head and has a hazy dark golden appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas are sort of perfumy, hints of thyme and oregano seems like. Flavours are fairly smooth and a bit spicy. Bitter gruit notes that give way to smooth spice in the finish. Lively carbonation. Good retention. Nice drying mouthfeel.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a very thin white head that pretty much disappears. Aroma is herbal, floral, spicy, thyme, ginger, and sweet tea. Flavour is spicy, sweet, thyme, tea, kinda ginger like, herbal and floral.

Wow! Who knew herbs and spices would be so good in a beer. Pours a clear golden orange with a small white ring. Aroma is a beautiful flowery perfumy lavender tea sweetness with some spicy and earthy thyme in the background. Taste is much of the same with a sweet malt base and fruity lavender tea flavor up front and then a nice spicy thyme finish. Haven’t had many gruit ales but this is a pleasure to drink especially at 8 percent.

Draft. Pours gold - Nose and taste of white peppercorn, lemon, exotic earthy fruits. Medium body.
