COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This orange-hued bock beer was brewed with a light rye malt addition, and offers up mingling aromas of mint and herbs. Adventurously spiced, the malty, sweet taste gets a pleasant cleansing lift from the addition of cooling peppermint and herbal juniper. Light orange peel adds citrus complements in the flavour undretones. Try it paired with gingerbread, spring rolls or traditionnal winter holiday fare.

Pours and insane amount of foamy, bubbly off-white head and has a light, clean amber appearance. Sticky lacing. Aromas of toasty and nutty malts with notes of caramel, toffee and spices. Flavours are fairly strong in spices, sweet malts and rye, nicely complimented with caramel and toffee. Finds a nice balance before the strong resin hop finish. Well balanced sweetness and bitterness. Full bodied mouthfeel with some pretty lively carbonation. Another solid Beau’s release!

(Rating #5847)

Deep amber pour. The nose is fairly spicy and fruity. Sort of gruit-like with a bit of light earthiness and some soft fruitiness. A bit of peppery character and some lingering rosemary-like herbal notes. Interesting.

600ml bottle from LCBO. Don Mills ON. Pours a deep amber colour with one finger of head which settles into a small 3/16" inch film. Herbal aroma. Taste is chocolate mint with some fruity notes and a bit of hoppy bitterness.

This true bock style beer has some amazing spice notes to it and a beautiful rich amber colour. For a 6.9% beverage it hides the alcohol taste well.

Poured a nice shiny brass colour. Thin off-white head. Leaves moderate lacing as drunk Light spiciness on the nose. Some roasted oats. Taste wise, this has some spice box, and hints of a lemon lime tingle at the beginning of the swallow. The spicy herbs don’t overwhelm the experience. Quite a nice Bock.

Hmmm, a minty beer just the thing for a drinking lunch. My your breath is minty says my boss. Well, not really. The goat, as I will call this beer, pours a hazy whiskey red-brown, with a beige head. Nose of this is dominated by hits of mint, with a little orange lurking in the back. The taste some malty cereal, but then the mint. Not overpowering, but omnipresence, and rolls right into the aftertaste. I like it. The juniper gets lost somewhere in the mix, as does much of the orange, but overall good beer. I always appreciate, though not always love, Beau’s unique beers. Thanks.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear deep copper with a big off white head that fades slowly. Nose is malts, spice and some banana. Starts sweet malt and toffee flavour with a backend dominated and dried by peppermint. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation. Nice sipping beer.
