An orange amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, intense spruce needles, mint, aromatic, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a nice sweet malt with nice spruce tips, mint, juniper berries, nice and smooth. 2012-12-31. Crisp dark orangey amber body, nice foamy beige head that fades leavig a nice beige lace on the glas. 3+ Really interesting aroma and flavour profile. Mint-orange melante in the aroma, mild fruit. 7+ Flavour has similar orange-mint melange, hints of juniper (maybe?) giving way to a fruity sweetish middle with just enough balancing bitterness. 8+ Very smooth average plus bodied palate. Did not expect this flavour combination to work when it was described but it manages to find a near perfect balance between the mint and orange. I quite enjoyed the fine line it walked. Tasty stuff. Not sure if I’d love it as much a second time but it apparently tickled me today! Bottle at Volo, Toronto, shared by Beaus_stuntman

Deep amber pour. The nose is fairly spicy and fruity. Sort of gruit-like with a bit of light earthiness and some soft fruitiness. A bit of peppery character and some lingering rosemary-like herbal notes. Interesting. solidfunk (9363) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 21, 2014
Ok but not super interesting, as always with Beau’s. Has some roast malt and a pretty good grain profile. Can’t pick out the spice but it may be ginger or something. Finishes with light sweetness. Ok package. Pours amber with decent head and lacing. Average carbonation. Tap at Winterbrewed. czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 9, 2012
mondial 2012, mtl - notes. hazy golden with a frothy white head, good retention and lacing. fresh junipers, mint, pepper, cereals - complex wort, bready. well constructed - even though not a mint-fan. average carbonation, medium body, nice herbal finish.

[4222-20111231] 600mL bottle. Peppermint orange leafy hop grains aroma smells a little like wet hair in a salon. Clear, amber orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Grainy peppermint orange malt flavour. Medium body. Odd but good. (7/3/7-/3/13) 3.3

Bottle [650ml] shared at Burger Bar w/ garthicus & HogTownHarry -- c/o HogTownHarry. Feb. 4. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with small foamy off-white head. Aroma is sugary sweet, fruity and kind of odd, but not in a bad way (must be the peppermint), quite spicy too. Flavour of spices, herbs and malt along with some sugary sweetness and honey. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good, it’s not something I’d want a lot of but it’s nice to share. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - APR 3, 2012

650ml bottle shared at Burger Bar with garthicus and blankboy. Bottle December 21st, 2011. Hazy fairly deep orange-amber with a small but lasting frothy mottled tan/beige head. Pungent aroma - sharp, really sinus-clearing - I thought maybe camphor or a cedar chest, but it was pointed out that it was LIME - whatever; not bad, but strange. Tasted like orange blossom honey - sweet, with a hint of cocoa and tangerine zest - really, really pleasant (8-). Mild carbonation, light body, a nice quick floral/honey finish - refreshing.
