600 ml bottle from the brewery via Lubiere, served almost cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Very cloudy deep golden with a fair, rocky white froth.
Aroma: Beau’s rustic, a touch bright/tangy, some fairly aggressive peppery, spicy, green peppercorn notes, a bit of light maltiness, a touch yeasty, hints of esters and alcohol.
Palate: Medium+ body, full, somewhat creamy effervescence with a few prickly bubbles.
Flav.: Beau’s rustic graininess, fairly present grassy, peppery hops, a bit of yeast, faint Belgian yeast characteristics, a hint of alcohol; dry with surprisingly good bitterness and a somewhat peppery/grassy, slightly rustic finish.
The Beau’s “house” aromas and flavours don’t always appeal to me. Beyond that, I don’t mind this beer. Good attempt.
600ml bottle from LCBO. 6%alc./vol.Pours a clear deep golden colour with 1/2 finger of white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pineapples, mango, mandarine, and grapefruits. Taste matches the aroma with some typical Belgian-yeasty flavours with a dry hoppy finish. Highly recommended. DuffMan (10278) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 14, 2016
Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Medium golden, lasting white head. Interesting interplay between the yeast esters and the hop aromatics creates a unique spicy/earthy/vegetal character, notes of crushed nettles, mint, capsicum. Strange but enjoyable. Randy4Beer (513) - - MAY 23, 2016
Semi-filtered gold body with a decent white head, that disappears fairly quick. Weak nose, but what’s new for Beau’s. Belgian yeast on the tongue, with a spicy pepper in there as well. Something else, like grassy banana esters, but not quite, that I haven’t ever tasted before. Funky, but drinkable. Certainly not Beau’s best though. lukin (621) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 17, 2016
clear gold-orange colour. Small head. yeast, citrus, caramel, honey. fruity up front, bitter finish. Nice.

(bottle) slightly hazy, bright orange colour with a medium tall, white head; aroma of fruit, honey; balanced flavour with a medium long, medium bitter finish; creamy palate BytownJon (60) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 24, 2016
600ml Bottle dated 8 weeks prior. Translucent golden orange with thin foam. Bread-yeast and orange peel aroma. Taste of yeasty apple cider and hint of spice, too much apple cider taste for me. kevinsenn (2182) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - APR 21, 2016
On tap at The Berlin, Kitchener, ON. Spicy and tropical fruit aroma. Pleasant tropcial fruit taste, with some spice in the finish. Moslty sweet, with a bitter aftertaste. Very good. Gluepot (632) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 20, 2016
biscuit malt and mild hop nose. A very thin white head on a rich gold and orange body. A well blended and refreshing Belgian pale ale. Spice, pepper, biscuit malt with cereal density, pilsnerish yeast, honey and a hint of kiwi and orange round out a complex and enjoyable taste profile. Taste sustains well but has a clean finish. Well done! TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2016
600 mL bottle. I really do wish they’d get rid of these. Fairly typical yeast-up-front Belgian. It becomes more interesting about half-way through, when the hops kick in, and it has a nice, relatively dry, finish.
