A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a light biscuitty malt with smooth herbaceous hops, and wet grass. In mouth, a nice crisp malt with oily mouthfeel, floral hops, grapefruit notes, very nice. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest Oct. 1 2011. Sammy (12347) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 20, 2011
A hoppy smell, lacey and cloudy orange body. A good IPA with a rye edge. Drying finish. A tad sourish in the finish.

This was my 2000th rating from Canada at time of entry!
Cask at C’est What - 11.95 a pint? Are you fucking kidding me! Anyway, now that I’ve got that out of the way, on to the beer itself. Aroma is quite earthy and spicy with a nice herbal hop aroma. There is an interesting sort of fruity character underneath that I can’t quite put my finger on - a little
bit gruity. Fairly pronounced bitterness and a clean malt character with a touch of rye spice coming through on the back. Quite an interesting brew - but there’s no forgiving that price. Hoppy enough to be an IPA mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
[3974-20110922] Bottle. Mild toasted corn husks aroma has what must be rye grains. Slightly hazy, orange brown body with a very quick foamy off-white head. Toasted grainy rye bread malt flavour. Medium-full body. Good. (7-/3-/7/3/13) 3.3

Draught at Volo. Pours a deep orange-copper with a small semi-lasting frothy white head. Mild aroma is fruity, grainy and lightly tart along with caramel malt, very light hops and just a hint of smoke. Fruity flavour is a touch metallic (or something that reminds me of that) along with caramel malt, a hint of rye and a very bitter finish. Medium bodied. I didn’t much care for this, I’m sure it’s well made, it’s just a little too mild and dull for me -- personal preference. Radek Kliber (7369) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - DEC 14, 2011
On tap at Volo
Aroma mild, fruity with sweet caramel. Gentle hint of rye, rose on sides. 7-
Appearance gentle haze on red copper. Light white top. Pretty. 4-
Flavor and Palate : medium full bodied. Soft mid textures based on rye. Dry leafy hints that were bit too harsh when you pair with such soft malt bottom. Quiet bitter at finish with roughness that it’s hard to shake off. If you eased on hop this would be solid nice rye ale.
