A hoard of hop bounty awaits your senses. Powerful herbal, grassy aromas will attack your olfactory faculties while hop bitterness will overtake your palate. This all-out, hyperbolic take on German pilsner is our second Pro-Am collaboration with back-to-back CABA champion Brad Clifford!

History & Style
Beaus Pro-Am Series is a salute to homebrewers, true innovators of our craft. Beers designed by amateur brewers, brewed at Beaus. CABA CABA HEY is our annual Pro-Am collaboration with the Canadian Amateur Brewing Association (CABA). Mutineer was designed by this years Great Canadian Homebrew Competition winner, Brad Clifford!

Tasting Notes
This very big beer features bold hop flavours. Bitterness and aroma are structured around a clean German malt profile, and are complemented by a well-integrated warming booziness.

600ml bottle. Clear gold colour, skeezy white head. Herbal, apple, sour and skunky aromas. Taste was a bit better, loads of German tasting hops. Overall, Imperial Stella.

600ml bottle, clean gold color, with a thick pillowy white head, with a light honeyed pale, pilsener, munich malt, faint vanilla nose, with a faint floral leafy, grassy hop accent, with a subtle citrus note in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a warming, crisp honeyed pale, pilsener, munich malty, vanilla, good flowery herbal, leafy, grassy, citrus hoppy character, with some lemon, grapefruit rind, lemon pie, mint flavours, leading towards a grainy pilsener maltiness, vanilla, lingering grassy, leafy, herbal, citrus, minty hop bitterness finish.

pours clear light yellow with a medium-sized white head, some retention and lacing. pils, doughy and chewy maltiness, booze, spicy and floral german nobleness, white grape juice, ginger, pepper, warming alcohol, low sulfur. some sweetness. moderate carbonation, medium body - silky, syrupy honeyish texture, grassy-spicy-herbal and a tad sweet finish. nice offering.

600 ml bottle purchased at the brewery in June 6, 2013. Light blonde, medium head. Aroma of crunchy barley, hints of dry wheat. Sweet taste of barley, with dry and green hops, a little bitterness. A strong lager that drinks quite well!

Bottle - 600ml. Slightly hazy blond body with a thin white creamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with coriander hints. Alcohol is subtle. Its sharp, fresh hoppy taste carries herbal, malty, and some honeyish notes. Ends with a long bitter/herbal finish. Well done.
