Also enjoyed this bottle with Chopz at AC’s Saloon. :) Pours a pretty generous amount of foamy off white head, and has a pale golden appearance with lots of dirty lacing. Has a grassy scent along with some malts and madarins. Quite malty creamy flavouful mouthfeel. Kind of an orangey aftertaste. Very mild citrus flavours that do not exactly stand out. Some slight bitterness on the palate. Still pretty good. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 2, 2014
Bottle. Copper-gold with a very faint haze and a good sized white head. Aroma has a nice barley candy character - not as prominent as from a barley wine, but still noticeable - along with a balancing grassiness and a bit of orange oil. Flavour follows with sweet caramelized barley and candied orange up front, moving quickly into herbal dryness and a lingering bitter finish with orange rind and a slight boozy warmth. This bottle is more than a year old, but it’s held up well, and from what I can remember it doesn’t seem a lot different from the much fresher bottle I had last year. Very enjoyable. Bottle, amber pour, tastes is grainy, some carmel notes, a nice smooth taste, nothing too crazy but enjoyable. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 15, 2014

Sweet, golden, nothing too thrilling about it but nothing particularly wrong with it either.

Pretty decent. Continues the beaus tradition of doing average styles of beer pretty well. The reason this comes around is mostly due to a great barley malt profile. It mingles well with the pepper aroma and a light bit of booze. Pours cloudy orange with decent head and lacing. Finishes crisp and a little bitter with sweet boozy malt appropriate to style. Well done. Tap at Arrow and Loon. HogTownHarry (7309) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - NOV 30, 2013
bottle c/o "G" - yay G! Amber-tinged clear gold with a huge fluffy off-white lasting head. Floral and herbal slightly fruity malt aroma, not too sweet - bready. Taste - even more herbal, sharp green sour fruit character, alcohol emerges- spicy and I quite like it. light body, acidic/astringent, nice carbonation. Hoppier than most "bock" beers, which is a good thing, for me. Crockett (1141) - Southampton, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 12, 2013
Pours deep gold with light orange hues. Short soapy white head. Grass and herbal hop nose with light sweet grassy hops, herbs. Traces of caramel and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, and the aroma translates very evenly to the palate. Bready malts, earth, and some clean acidity rounds out the beer into a fairly soft, toasty finish. thorongil2 (3638) - , Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2013
(bottle) nice clear light honey amber colour with a tall tan head; aromas of noble hops, bread; balanced flavour with a long medium bitter finish; slightly creamy palate Boutip (6669) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 7, 2013
Bottle: Poured a light amber color bock with a large foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of unrefined grain and light residual sugar is not the best. Taste is also dominated by unrefined grain with light cereal notes, some dry caramel and a dry finish. Body is light for style with good carbonation. Not sure why I bought this in the first place and not sure I would bother drinking this again.
