Veary carbonated a long time. Smell of sweet malt & spice. Taste is sweet malt w/ light spice in he back. Heavy bodied. Some sips are gross. Fan of brewery but not this beer style. robinvboyer (4697) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2013
Clear amber pour, frothy off white head. Biscuity, bread, cereal aroma. Solid fresh cut grass hops. Gorgeous aroma. SOlid carb, great clean, crisp Light bitter finish, with the hops topping it off. superb lager! bdettweiler (57) - KITCHENER, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2013
Clear, golden yellow with a thin white head and very bubbly appearance. Muted aroma of sweet biscuit malts and lemony-herbal hops as well as yeast and a little alcohol. Tastes the same with sweetness more apparent at the start, fading into a refreshing off-dry, herbal-bitter finish The body is medium with plenty of lively carbonation. 600 mL bottle. Nice dark orange beer with a fairly impressive off-white head. (Full disclosure: not my favourite style. Or second favourite.) Typical sharp fruity/malty aroma. Not enough fruity maltiness in the flavour, though, to hold up to the booze. This one could use a little time in the cellar, maybe. pushkinwow (2826) - Ottawa, CANADA - OCT 9, 2013
On tap at Beau’s Oktoberfest. Awesome name and label for a beer. Pale amber with a fluffy off white head that makes me want to stick my face in the beer to create a beer mustache (may also be because at this point in time I had been at Oktoberfest for a few hours). A fair amont of malt, some lemon zest, hints of yeast, caramel, sugar. Moderate carbonation and mild+ body, easy to drink and fresh but overall this just doesn’t do it for me, even if as MT says its bang on for the style.

My Bottom Line : shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2013
This perfectly authentic and deeply malty Heller Bock develops biscuity, honeyed depths in a crisp and highly drinkable vehicle.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slim veil of foam settles atop the amber-hued golden.
-The mouthfeel is fluffy, beautifully sharing the malts’ intricacies.
-Herbal hops balance out the honeyed malts.
-This ratings page is more of an indictment of the Heller Bock style than it is an appreciation of this spot-on example.
600 mL bottle. Pours crystal clear, liquid gold with a thick white head. Bready with caramel toffee, nut butter, lemon verbena, cracker and hop spice. Moderately dry, above average body and normal carbonation. Lingering bitter finish, slightly sticky on the palate. A big ol’ Helles. Spab (3897) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2013
600 ml bottle from LCBO (part of Oktoberfest mix pack). Pours a clear golden orange with modest-sized white-ish head. Aroma is crackery biscuit, hints of fruit and peppery spice. Flavour is crackery biscuit, light lemon and mild apple and gentle white pepper. Medium plus body. Decent. HipHopOpotamus (233) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2013
I like how beaus made some new German style beers for me to taste. Sold as a 4 mix pack in 600 ml bottles, how ever it was on the pricy end at $24. The beer overall was ok but nothing outstanding. sseb69 (1911) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 26, 2013
Bouteille 600 ml. 7%. Couleur ambrée, mousse beige pâle. Arôme de grains frais, alcool et touche de houblon. En bouche, douce, malt, un peu de caramel, poivre rose, alcool et houblon. Descend bien. Très bonne beer !
