UPDATED: DEC 29, 2014 600 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a foggy amber, with thick white head and moderate carbonation.
Aromas right out of the gate feature white pepper, spice box, and a light citrus blend.
Taste is white pepper, coriander, and a hint of bitter orange peel.
I’m not overly familiar with Saisons, but regardless this a very tasty, thirst quenching winner of a summer beer. One of the best combinations of aroma, taste, and being sessionable, I have seen in any beer in a while, and definitely my fave Beau’s offering of 2014 thus far. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - SEP 12, 2014
Absolutely solid saison. Incredibly flavorful. Sprightly in mouthfeel. Recommended. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 9, 2014

Great summer ale. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 9, 2016
Pours a pretty clear golden with a medium white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of citrus, cereals, pepper. Taste is also of citrus/lemon, bready cereals, pepper. Nice classic saison. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel is fluffy. Pleasantly surprised! MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 13, 2014

Malt and spice on the nose. a light white head on a yellow-amber body. Zesty lemon hoppiness supported by tropical elements lead the taste profile of this punchy saison. A hint of orange, bready malt and a hint of graininess underpin a tasty and hoppy offering. Clean and refreshing with great unity. A richer body than most saisons. Tap at The Only Cafe. Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly peppery with a touch of clove and some light citrus as well. A little. It of lean wheaty spice as well as some prickly ethanol (even though it’s only 5.9%). Light palate and appropriately dry. A little bit of pear seems to pop up here. Solid - if pedestrian - saison. garthicus (2933) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 14, 2012
On tap at Burger Bar. Appearance: golden yellow, lots of visible carbonation. Small white head. Aroma: quite yeasty, lemon, pineapple, wheat. Flavour: Lemon, spicy, lots of yeast, quite a lot of carbonation, long yeast finish. Quite refreshing! Good job. MXD (304) - Gatineau/St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - APR 14, 2012
On tap the Aulde Dubliner. Color is pretty much plain yellow. Average whitehead, a wee bit hazy. Aroma is really heavy on yeast and lemon. Taste is typical saison -- fruits (pear, lemon) and tartness. Quite carbonated and rather dry. Typical Beau’s freshness/grainy mouthfeel. Good. pootzboy (1760) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 17, 2012
On Tap: Beautiful shimmering orange-gold color, 2 finger tight white cap, appropriate carbonation (much like a bottle conditioned ale). Aroma is a bouquet of spice, succulent fruits, biscuity malt, floral hops. A little more substantial body than lighter colored Saisons. A flavourful blend of pungent wheaty buiscuity malt, fruitiness, herbacious undertones, a bit of citrus - goes to a clean dry bittering finish. Very thirst busting and a welcome break from Saisons that obliterate the ale’s subtlty with corriander and other adjuncts.
