Sweet base malt aroma that is creamy and with a decent dose of lychee fruit, grapefruit, and peppery phenolic. Almost clear orangish amber under a lacy, off white cover. Sweet base malt with a blast of lychee fruit and notes of strawberry and citrus. Assertive woody bitterness provides good balance. Medium to full body, high carbonation, sweet and bitter finish. Aroma medium intense, malty with good hop side. Very nicely arranged.
Top: medium, off-white creamy with good lace and rings.
Base: hazy, amber gold.
Palate : good, creamy texture with medium fuller body. Medium walls.
Taste: citrusy with grapefruit elements , resinous hint, golden malts.
Other notes solid hop profile on side to malty base. Drinkable with good character.
Bottle (650 ml). Extra from Craig, thanks! Clear bright dark golden with a medium off-white head, good retention and massive lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast, grassy hops, resinous notes, light sweetness and tropical fruits/citrus. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with a pine, yeast, spices, grassy notes and moderate bitterness. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Sticky bitterness. Overall, this is a very good hoppy/piney Belgian Ale. Not extremely complex, but that was probably no the goal here. Well done. pushkinwow (2889) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUL 9, 2013
On tap at the Atomic Rooster. Hazy pale yellow with with a slight orange hue, tan head. Some yeast, bit of apricot along with a nice orange and faint citrus aroma, there is also a slight spice along with some bananas and a bready malt. Moderate carbonation and body, refreshing with a pleasant balanced bitterness, slightly dry finish, get more yeast and some fruit on the finish. Had no idea of style when it was brought to me but quite enjoyed - sorta of a Belgian IPA. Spab (4007) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 5, 2013
On tap at Volo. Pours a clear orange amber with moderate-sized whiteish head. Aroma is fruity Belgian yeast, tropical fruit and lightish citrus. Taste also apple/pear, clove, tropical fruit and modest citrus - more Belgian than hop bomb. Dry finish. Good.

2013-06-17. Very lightly hazy orange body, nice beige head and lace. 3+ Aroma is moderately alcoholic, lightly yeasty notes, biscuity bready pale malt. 7+ Flavour is pretty bitter up front, with a Belgian yeast undercurrent throughout. Light alcohol presence is relatively mild but amplifies the bitterness in the finish. Not a ton of hop character beyond the bitterness but it comes out subtly as it warms up. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Nice. (Sampled again from the bottle later in the week and it was a bit sweeter, and just a touch less alcoholic.) Bomber from the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with generous beige head that leaves some lace. Nose is slight citrus and a bunch of peach and yeast with some pine in the finish. A little bit of clove and pepper appears, which I usually hate, but this is not overpowering. Medium stick body. I like the hops at the back end of this Belgian. herrbrown1974 (427) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2013
On tap at Bar Hop. Clear dark gold with a frothy white head. High, delicate carbonation. Aroma is rich with Belgian yeast and the Pilsner/Vienna hops. Peppery with grapefruit and orange rind, hints or grass, pine, alcohol, and I think I even got some strawberry notes! Medium, slightly sticky body. Typically Belgian yeasty maltiness throughout, with a refreshing German kick and an added "IPA" dry bitter grapefruit finish. ABV is prevalent, but a balanced, complex brew. Really nice take on this style. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
600 ml bottle from Beau’s, served cool in a tulip glass. solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 13, 2013
App.: Clear deep amber with a large orange-light tan head.
Aroma: Lovely hops – pine/resin, grassy and peppery, some esters and phenolics for the Belgian character, a bit of Saison funk, good stuff.
Palate: Medium+ body, moderate effervescence.
Flav.: Lots of big pine/resin, good fruity esters, quite spicy and peppery (phenolics and hops), only a wee hint of Saison, great; off-dry with good bitterness and a long, resinous finish.
Close to DV Lupulus...really nice.
Not a bad offering from Beaus. Pours orange with carpet lacing and great head. Some floral aromas with some malt. Finish is bitter with some astringency. Lively carbonation. Ok balance, a little on the watery side though. Tap at Barhop.
