A hazed amber gold ale with a thick creamy light mocha head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with coriander and nice herbaceous hops, piney and orangey. In mouth, a nice smooth Belgian IPA with fruity malt, piney floral hops, orange pulp, very nice. Sammy (12762) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 15, 2013
This was the VI version of the Belgian IPA. Nice bitterness and drinkability. One of the better ones.Rhino summer fest. jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2013
2013-06-17. Very lightly hazy orange body, nice beige head and lace. 3+ Aroma is moderately alcoholic, lightly yeasty notes, biscuity bready pale malt. 7+ Flavour is pretty bitter up front, with a Belgian yeast undercurrent throughout. Light alcohol presence is relatively mild but amplifies the bitterness in the finish. Not a ton of hop character beyond the bitterness but it comes out subtly as it warms up. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Nice. (Sampled again from the bottle later in the week and it was a bit sweeter, and just a touch less alcoholic.) [5493-20130617] Tap. Mild fruity yeast grain aroma. Slightly hazy, red orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Grainy bitter flavour has a touch of grassy hops. Medium body is bitter. Tasty, a little rough around the edges. (6/3+/7/4/14) 3.4

Deep golden pour. The nose is spicy and a bit sweaty. Some light pepper and a touch of lemon. Peppery and some soft clove and a touch of citrus as well. Assertive bitterness. Lovely actually.

Not a bad offering from Beaus. Pours orange with carpet lacing and great head. Some floral aromas with some malt. Finish is bitter with some astringency. Lively carbonation. Ok balance, a little on the watery side though. Tap at Barhop. blankboy (7808) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2013
Draught at Thirsty & Miserable . Pours a hazy dark copper-gold with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. A bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma of Belgian yeast, fruit and herbs along with light hops and bready malt. Flavour of Belgian yeast, a good amount of hops (more then the aroma suggest), lots of fruit, herbs & spices and a dry finish that is, surprisingly, quite bitter. Some alcohol there but fairly well hidden. Medium bodied. Enjoyable and on style. Well done.

Aroma medium intense, malty with good hop side. Very nicely arranged.
Top: medium, off-white creamy with good lace and rings.
Base: hazy, amber gold.
Palate : good, creamy texture with medium fuller body. Medium walls.
Taste: citrusy with grapefruit elements , resinous hint, golden malts.
Other notes solid hop profile on side to malty base. Drinkable with good character.
On draught at Bar Hop. Hazy deep amber with a large fluffy lasting almost white head. Interesting aroma - like a mild Dubbel with a hint of Weizen and a lot of grassy bitterness. Taste - wow - resin and grass and way back there is light toasty sweet yeasty malt and some alcohol. Average body and carbonation, astringent and dry, with an incredibly long coating grapefruit pith bitter finish and linger - starts "Belgian" finishes like a malty DIPA. Powerful stuff! swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - NOV 28, 2013
