2014/01/16 - Pours an opaque dark brown cola colour with a two-finger foamy khaki head. Aroma of milk chocolate, mild herbal hops and roasted coffee. Taste follows nose with a mildly sweet, slightly bitter cocoa aftertaste. Some metallic aftertaste as well. Mouthfeel is slightly oily with medium carbonation.

Bought a Milk Stout, got an Irish Red. The disappointment is beyond words. I really hope it was just a bad bottle, but for now, as I'm supposed to rate a Stout, there it goes. fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 20, 2017

Dark color, near black. Light aroma of roasted malts. The mouthfeel is very dry, it has a delicate flavor of roasted malt, some chocolate, some lactose, light nuts.
Rather simple but clean. I don’t get the "Sweet", but it’s a perfectly sessionable Stout.
Pours a huge foamy bubbly beige head, looks like foam from chocolate milk pour. Has a dark brown appearance with light reddish hues. Somewhat weak lacing. Aromas of cocoa, roasted and bread malts, and faint floral hops. Flavours of roasted malts, barley, yeast, milk chocolate, light hints of toffee and cocoa. Has some notes of coffee and bready malts in the finish. Smooth and slick sensation on the palate with a somewhat silky and oily mouthfeel. Goes down real easy, a smooth milky stout that can easily be a session. Good stuff! jgb9348 (6392) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Rich dark brown coloured body with a nice, three to four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of cream, raisins, roasted malt, oatmeal, alcohol and a dose of pit fruits - nice and strong. Medium-bodied; Strong roasty flavours of malt, caramel and earth while also showing some milk and cream flavours, a dose of raisins and figs and a touch of cardboardie malt near the end. Aftertaste shows the cream and roasted malt more than anything with some oatmeal body and a lighter dose of raisins and figs that make this quite sweet. Overall, a fairly decent, but a tad thin, stout that is definitely on the sweeter side, but to me pours and feels like a porter more than a stout. I sampled this 20 ounce, thin [beau’s] bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 11-June-2017 for US$4,99 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore on 30-June-2017, my birthday at Pungoteague, Virginia.

Bouteille achetée au Monde des Bières, Saint-Nicolas, Qc.
Couleur noire familière aux stouts conventionnels. Légèrement sucrée, assez crémeuse. Arrière-goût de malt intéressant et de longue durée. Très bon produit.

600 ml bottle poured at home. Pours dark brown with a reddish tinge when held up to light. Nice aroma of chocolate. Has a malty, coffee, and chocolate flavour. Is a touch watery but great flavours.

Sweet and creamy this light Stout has hints of milk and an interesting taste in the malt. HogTownHarry (7062) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - MAY 7, 2017
September 20, 2013 - 600ml shared bottle - this was a very early batch indeed of this! Ruby-black, almost opaque with a decent creamy light light brown head. Nutty, slightly woody aroma, not a lot of lacto sharpness or sourness - and NOT sweet, just a little smoky and charred - emerging coffee - really pleasant. Taste follows, and there is definitely some cream and sweetness there, but not obnoxiously so - still enough dry bitterness and still that hint of woodsmoke to balance it out, modest alcohol. Light and airy mouthfeel, creamy - really nice cocoa/nutmeat and light bitterness in the linger - very pleasant and well done beer. mcberko (18429) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 26, 2017
On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out lactose sweetness and a touch of red fruitiness. Flavour is rather metallic, with subdued lactose, toasted malt and some dirt. Finishes earthy and metallic. Not a fan of this one. Oakes (18199) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 23, 2017
Draught @ St Augs. Dark brown with a thin head. On the nose, some mellow chocolate and a touch of toffee- to me, a nice milk stout aroma. Light body but residual sugars are just in enough evidence. Soft. Cocoa, touch of toffee. Avoids the thinness trap. Pretty good example.
