Beaus private order group. Traditional as in no hops, myrtle detected. So-so drinkable. A strong yeast aroma, funky yeast beverage mostly. Soft carbonation. Medium yellow with some bubbles, and lace lines. Nothing exceptional. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 1, 2012
600 ml bottle. Pours a slightly veiled straw with a short-lived white head. Smell is yeast, cereals. Taste is very sweet, yeast, sweetbread, cookie dough, malt. Finish is subtle herbal bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft, creamy mouthfeel. Good carbonation, but not aggressive in any way. Nice beer, but not quite my style. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Pours a cloudy straw-yellow with no head retention at all. Aroma of mainly yeast, orange and clove spice. Flavours consists of yeast, orange and pepper/coriander spice. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Thanks to cfrancis for this beer. Pours a murky straw color with a small head and zero lace. Aroma is yeast with a faint lemon and soe clove. Taste is yeast up front with a sweet citrusy finish. Interesting beer that’s easy to drink. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2012
A hazed golden amber ale with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light bananas and sulfur notes, cloves, nice. In mouth, a sweet banana malt with light berry notes, OK. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest Sept 29 2012.

On tap @ Wellington Gastropub Ottawa. Pours a clear, yellowish/amber with a small white head. Aroma is floral with some lemon. Taste is dominated by a spice that I recognize but can’t pinpoint. Smooth, oily mouthfeel with a medium carbonation. Overall, did not enjoy the dominant spice profile. JoeMcPhee (9517) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2012
Cloudy orange pour with no head. The aroma is spicy and softly peppery. A little bit of orange peel and some spicy yeast. A bit of light clove along with some light spiciness as well. More saison than anything. Interesting. rejtable (2819) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 3, 2012
Pours slightly cloudy straw with no head after seconds and no lacing. Ugly looking beer. Aromas are very Beligian-wit ish, some citrus, some yeast and maybe some light floral hops lurking back there somewhere. Tastes are medium sweet with some light bitterness and a slightly acidic finish. Medium body with a dry finish and lively carbonation. Nice enough beer. jercraigs (10731) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2012
2012-10-08. Hazy pastel orange body, small bubbly off-white head that fades. 3+ Flavour has a sweetish citrus melange, modest bitterness, very lightly astringent at times. Five Alive like citrus melange undercurrents - but not that sweet - add a quality to the bitterness that I struggle to describe. 6+ Aroma has a similar quality to it that I can’t put my finger on, vaguely citrusy/fruity herbal character but not quite that. Average plus bodied palate is under carbonated. I really enjoyed it, but it is very odd. On tap? at Brewmarket, Brick Works, Toronto Eructoblaster (4330) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 12, 2012
Bottle - 600ml. Hazy blond body with heavy carbonation and a thiin white foamy/creamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and herbal hints. Taste is well balanced. It carries some grassy, bready, and coriander notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Good stuff, but a bit thinner than expected.
