Bottle [600ml]. Pours a hazy, very bubbly, copper-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Sweet aroma of yeast, spices, herbs, grain, citrus, light sugar, light pumpkin and a hint of hops. Flavour of wheat, spices (ginger mainly along with more), yeast and fruit (citrus and banana). Average bodied. Not much pumpkin in this but the taste is pleasant and it’s easy to drink.

The beer pours a hazy orange-gold with a thin tan head, definitely reminiscent of an orange coloured wheat beer. The aroma is pumpkin, spices, and wheat. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is more wheat and spices than pumpkin. While the first couple of Beau’s beers I tried were very good, the others haven’t lived up to the Ontario hype, certainly not at their price point.12
Smells a little like pumpkin but more on the wheat beer end of the scale. Pours a cloudy orange. Palate is a little watery. No head, medium carbonation. Definitely not worth the eight bucks they charge for a bottle of this. On tap at volos. GuillaumeCL (344) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy orange straw colour with a bunch of foamy white head that dissipates quickly and has a bit of visible carbonation. Smell is as advertised, somewhere between a weiss and a pumpkin beer. You get the slight pumpkin and cinnamon smell along with a bit of wheat yeastiness and maybe a tiny bit of citrus. Palate is fairly light bodied with moderate carbonation. Taste is a bit lacking, it’s got some bitter with a bit of spiciness, but it’s not very intense and doesn’t last very long. Could use some more flavour. rejtable (2672) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2012
Pours orange with a head this dissipates rapidly. No lacing. Nose is spicy wih a hint of yeast. Aromas are spice, pumpkin pie, dough. Tastes are medium sweet and a spicy finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Nice stuff!

600ml bottle. Cloudy yellow orange pineapple juice kind of colour, small white head. Mild aroma, with ginger, allspice/nutmeg/coriander, banana and a hint of pumpkin. Taste is ginger, banana, spices and some toasted grain. Very little pumpkin. Overall, it was a tasty beer, but it seemed lacking in pumpkin. I’m not wild about pumpkin beers so that might not be such a bad thing. It was a good spiced hefe. yrstruly (333) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2012
this is the year of the pumpkin wheat beer in ontario it seems. Pours hazy gold with a lacy white head. The aroma is of orange, cinnamon, squash and a bit of banana yeast. The taste is crisp, well-carbonated, and dry, slight maltiness giving way to a slightly unbalanced amount of hops. This doesn’t stand out too much as a pumpkin beer, but it is nice enough as a weissbier. Sammy (12197) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2012
LCBO bottle. Pours a light yellow with small white bubbly head. Spicy and yeasty nose. Beau signature yeast and mouthfeel, understated pumpkin flavour and a mild spicy finish. Not bad drinkability. More weiss than pumpkin, a changeup for fans of the style. HogTownHarry (6830) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2012 October 31, 2012 - on draught at the Bar Hop Black & Orange Fest. Hazy light gold with a decent white fizzy/creamy white head. Aroma is mostly light hefeweiss and spice, just a hint of pumpkin pie character. Taste is even less pumpkin, more lemon an satsuma peel than anything. Average body, solid carbonation, fruity and spicy in the finish. Really pleasant!
