600 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw with a nice, resilient white head. Smell is sugar, molasses, herbal hops. Taste is VERY salty, sweet (molasses, honey), malted wheat, oatmeal. Finish is herbal hops, quite dry. Some salt. Medium to thick body, soft, oatish mouthfeel. Good. Not fabulous. Wouldn’t recommend it to a non-connoisseur, as it is quite the unexpected experience. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Pours a yellow with fair white head settling nicely around the edge of the glass. Aromas of lemon citrus, wheat, some yeast and a little sweet honey. Tastes of honey, wheat, bitterness(slight citrus) and peppery notes. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Thanks to cfrancis for this beer. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a big white head that dissipates quickly but leaves a small ring. Aroma is yeast with a slight sweetness on the end. Taste is yeast with some sour lemon and honey. Pretty basic and mildly interesting ale. Lubiere (13780) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 16, 2012
A golden ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, a sweet caramel malt with German hops and light mineral notes. In mouth, a nice crisp malt with mineral notes, kolsch-like, nice. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest Sept 29 2012.

Pours pale straw with an initial foamy head hat quckly dissolves to a light white coating. Nose is limited, maybe a bit of yeast. Aromas are subtle, but nice. Some light honey, some yeast, some very light citrus. Tastes are light sweet with a bit of a bitter finish. Mouth is pretty light body. Not the biggest beer in the world, but a great quaffer with lots of subtlety to keep it interesting.

Pale straw coloured pour. The aroma is odd - sort of soapy with a bit I herbal character as well. A touch of spice and wheat but it has an odd watery palate along with a touch of earthiness. Cooling palate and a sort of woody bittered. Okay. solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - OCT 31, 2012
The description said white beer but this just tastes like a helles. Smells like nothing, pours golden like a lager with no head. Some honey in the taste but pretty much empty of character in general. Misfire. cfrancis (3407) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2012
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a moderate white top. Aroma is sweet honey, slight pepper and yeast. Taste is slight sweet with a small peppery undertone. Interesting beer. Can’t quite figure out where it fits. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 27, 2012
Pint at Loon. Hazy deep golden, no head. Slightly peppery with that classic Beau’s rough/rustic grainy thing, orangey-citrus notes, tight due to temp. Medium body with silky effervescence. Peppery, rough/rustic, a little wheaty and yeasty, maybe a touch of esters, light citrus; dry with minimal bitterness and a light, clean finish. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2012
2012-10-08. Crisp dark yellow body with a nice white head and lace. 3+ Fairly clean flavour, mild bitterness, mild fruity character is interesting, pale malt has just a hint of biscuity bready notes. 6+ Aroma is similar, mild fruit, hints at lemon and mild malt. Average plus bodied palate. A bit too mild overall for my preference but enjoyable and very quaffable. On tap at Brewmarket, Brick Works, Toronto
