Draftvat the brewpub. Rusty red with a great, robust aroma. Woodsy and sharply bitter, this is a great rustic ale, perfect for the environs. (#6356, 10/9/2016) miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2015

Cloudy golden with a medium sized white head, some lacing. Aroma is floral. Taste is floral with a pine resin
Draft at the Montana Brwers Fest. Decent aroma of mixed fruit. Taste is mostly bitter fruit. User37895 (3042) - - AUG 2, 2014
Draft from a huge mason jar. Pour was deep amber-red. Head super generous with good lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine, floral. Flavor followed. Firm bitterness behind a big mouthful that us hearty even grainy a bit. Decent brew.

Draft @ Famous Dave’s Williston. A amber pour with minimal sandy head. Nose is faint Simcoe; citrus and dirty floral. The hop intensity grows in the flavor with emphasis on the florals. Caramel and lightly bready. More malt presence than expected, but pleasant. I’d second the comment below of this being more like an amber than an IPA. Style debate aside, this is nicely done on the homefront. MatSciGuy (907) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 23, 2011
[Growler] shared by timbeer. Thanks! Pours hazy red with some floating particles and soapy tan head. Aroma is lightly metallic, lots of Amarillo and Simcoe, and Cascade. Moderate maltiness, caramel, decently hoppy, more like an amber than an ipa, but still pretty nice. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - SEP 28, 2010
Sample at the 2nd annual Montana Brewers Festival. Cloudy dark orange, Aroma of lots of bright tropical citrus with some pine. Taste is very nicely balanced, this is a great beer. roblisa (4) - Wibaux, USA - OCT 16, 2008 does not count
This beer is very aromatic. Lots of hoppy goodness. Flavor is off the charts on this one.
