Normal pour, subpar head, ok lacing. The aroma was too strong on a coffee type slant, as was the flavor initially, strong bitter coffee in a brown ale with only bitter nuts detectable underneath. Some milky chocolate, yeastyness, sweet and toasty malt flavors, it’s filtered to a clear brown with amber hues, medium effervescence and some creaminess and light resins.
