1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
from tap @ brewing company. Small and not stable head. Smell: sweet, very sweet for a pilsener. Almost the worst beer ever from tap.
Crisp and clean, not a ton going on. Just ok, as were most of their beers. Not too impressed. travita (5003) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 20, 2008
Yellow straw colored light white head. Taste has some nice hops spice going on with some citrus and malts. Smell is light with some hops and malts. Ratman197 (14822) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 30, 2006
On tap @ Beaver Street poured a clear yellow with a minimal white head. Aromas of straw and a hint of lemon. _Palate was light bodied and dry. Flavors of straw and a hint of lemon with a dry astringent finish. User37895 (3042) - - JUN 19, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2007 Re-rate, 5/07: Not much different than my first experience, although I’m bumping the numbers up a little. Maltier than hoppier for the style, yet overall a fairly balanced beer. Spiciness, herbal, spicey hops, and biscuity twist detected in the flavor, relative to my first tasting. Not a bad take on the style, pretty good ringed lacing left behind. Original rating: Pretty boring beer, although not bad. Again, a little imbalanced toward the sweet/malty side (as was the hefe I had tonite), which for a pilsner isn’t all that good a thing. The appearance was pale yellow, almost like a corona/bud product. The head was miniscule to nothing, lacing weak. The aroma was ale malty with not a lot of specific scents. The flavor was very light honey over a grainy flavor with only light grassy notes in the hop presence. Some sort of a bittering hop in there behind a very small touch of grass. Either way, it needed more hops (did I just say that?).

Pale yellow beer with no head. Mild hoppy aroma. Flavor is quite full for a pilsener with a good hoppy bitterness and malt notes.
light yellow, typical appearance. Rotten grain, orange peel and sour lemon and wheat in this thing. Light tinge of sazz-like hops in the finish. Not too bad. BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - JUL 9, 2004
Clear light straw color, well carbonated. Woody hop spice aroma. Light malt intro, touch of wood, actually starts like an American standard. Dry bitter finish, well hopped. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - APR 28, 2003
UPDATED: JUL 9, 2004 Light gold color. Small head. Aroma is slightly malty. A light bodied pilsner. Mild flavor. Malts are mild and slightly nutty. Hops are mild and slightly spicy. It a very clean very smooth pilsener. That said it also not got a lot of flavor. Light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
