Orange/copper hue, no head. Malt caramel with a hit of hops mid-drink which lasts into the finish. Woody, but thin. Typical sour grain in amber/red/irish ale types.
Draft at Lumberyard in Flagstaff. Attractive red colour with a good head. Enjoyable session beer, sweet-ish malt dominates. VastActiv (7749) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 20, 2017
Tap at Beaver Stree Brewery, Flagstaff. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Berries, some caramel, some hops and malts. Nothing special. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 22, 2015
#1 among locals?!!?! ;)
average malty red beer - nothing bad, nothing special. toffee and very light roast, with little in the way of hops. kcorum10 (349) - Idaho, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Pours a amber/copper color with med off white head that stays around for a short while. Aromas of mild caramel malts with flavors of mild caramel sweetness balanced with the slight hop bitterness. dwyerpg (6497) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 22, 2013
The fact that Beaver St and Lumberyard share facilites and beers makes it hard to get ratings in the right place. Nonetheless, this a great strong fresh hop aroma. Looks nice. This isn’t as hoppy as the aroma but has the light flavor of an amber. Quite tasty.

Reddish pour. Aroma is big on juicy hops and caramel. Flavor follows suit with a really nice hop finish. Good. rocbyter (2185) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Hoppy aroma with a light amount of malt. Clear orange-red color with a small white head. Moderate bitter beginning joined by some light malt in the middle lasting to the finish. bierslaaf (105) - Somerset West, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 17, 2011
On tap in a flight at the brewpub. Golden with a tinge of red, low carbonation. Small dissapating white head. Surprisingly low aroma. Some crystal malts and nondescript hops. Bitter especially in the finish. Overall a nice beer maybe a bit bitter for a red/American Amber Ale. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Served in a pint glass from tap. Had this at the Brewery, which was a very nice place. Review from notes.
3.5 A: Clear orange amber color, though the lighting was low so I could be off a bit. No head. The pour was a bad one and the beer was filled almost all the way up to the top of the glass so I can’t tell you much more.
3.0 S: Other than a touch of crystal malt, there isn’t anything going on. Rather disappointing.
4.5 T: Delicious and complex. Light fruits with a healthy bitterness that balances well. Malts are grainy, but not overly so. Herbal hop flavor. Everything meshes so well to make a great tasting brew.
4.0 M: Medium body. Smooth and creamy with good carbonation.
4.5 D: Excellent brew. This beer made the trip up to Flagstaff from Sedona worth while.
Serving type: on-tap

Amber color pour with a white head. Pretty standard amber aroma of caramel malt and earthy hops. Flavor is much the same. A bit thin, but passable.
