COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a world full of crazy, only one thing keeps us sane. The cold comfort blanket that is “Mutually Assured Destruction”. Brewed in collaboration with insane Norwegian beer despots, Lervig, this hop bomb is the “gift” that keeps on giving. Pure mango juice in the glass it packs a hefty payload of tinned mangos and pineapple on the nose with just the faintest hint of pine-y menthol. On the palate it’s banging fresh, targeting your taste receptors with juicy peach, passionfruit and a lick of zesty lime, then, just when you thought the bombardment was over, a wave of punchy black pepper & liquorice bitterness reinforcements arrive that keep on going, and going, and going until your taste buds are so battle-weary you can’t remember a time before this flavour. Smashable.

Holmen1 (6754) - Stavanger, NORWAY - FEB 4, 2018

Can shared with JMD at HNB 04.02.18. Strong aroma and taste of Sevilla oranges, bitter marmalade, mango and lychee. Also a hint of mint. Full mouthfeel. Complex and balanced!

Can in a hotel before Italy trip. Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate with decent fine carbonation. Soft semi dry creamy sweet malts. Good hop spice cuts through the rich mango led tropical fruits. Pineapple and orange. Touches of apricot and pine. More spicy hop on the soft and semi dry finish. Wonderful spicy fruit smoothie of a DIPA.

0.33 l bottle. Tasting session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Murky golden coloured. Moderately hoppy, tropical and orange aroma. Balanced. Full body, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Drinkable for almost 10%.

Cimbasso (1090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2017
Can from Prohibition Wines. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Heavy aroma of tropical fruits and amazing mouth-filling flavour of intense sweet malts and mango, pineapple, grapefruit, lychee and caramelised fruits. Extraordinarily rich and complex. A real blockbuster of a beer.

June 2017 - Can at home and another shared at Leighton’s. Thanks! As ’Beavertown / Lervig M.A.D.’ Cloudy orange, opaque, foamy off-white head. Aroma is peach squash, a little cheesy, caramelised fruits. Body is smooth with soft to tingly carbonation. Taste is spicy and pretty woody, passionfruit and caramelised stone fruits, boozy.
