COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a world full of crazy, only one thing keeps us sane. The cold comfort blanket that is “Mutually Assured Destruction”. Brewed in collaboration with insane Norwegian beer despots, Lervig, this hop bomb is the “gift” that keeps on giving. Pure mango juice in the glass it packs a hefty payload of tinned mangos and pineapple on the nose with just the faintest hint of pine-y menthol. On the palate it’s banging fresh, targeting your taste receptors with juicy peach, passionfruit and a lick of zesty lime, then, just when you thought the bombardment was over, a wave of punchy black pepper & liquorice bitterness reinforcements arrive that keep on going, and going, and going until your taste buds are so battle-weary you can’t remember a time before this flavour. Smashable.

Can from Prohibition Wines. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Heavy aroma of tropical fruits and amazing mouth-filling flavour of intense sweet malts and mango, pineapple, grapefruit, lychee and caramelised fruits. Extraordinarily rich and complex. A real blockbuster of a beer.

Appearance- cloudy and murky amber, fruit juice, a half-finger off-white head. Aroma- orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit juice, pineapple, mango, malty hints, fresh hops. Taste- loads of fruit, lots of bitter hops, orange peel, pineapple juice, sweet malt underneath, absurdity bitter lengthy finish, backed up by sweet malt. Very sweet and slightly oniony as it warms. Intense concentration of flavours. A little hard to get through, but still good.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Very hazy, dark orange. Skim of white. Nose has toasty, buttery malts. Pineapple core. English marmalade. Ripe strawberry. Some mint leaf. Some caramel. Taste is super sweet and sticky. Gets rich, herbal, boozy bitter. Chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The ABV is quite apparent. Sweet and boozy bitter finish. Tooth melting sweet and tooth melting boozy. Bonkers, but delicious.

Pours cloudy orange with a thin head. Aroma is all orange cream sorbet. A nice orange cream soda flavour with a ton of bitterness at the end. This is genius.

Can from Bottlecraft, Hanley. Pours a Aroma of orange, mango, pineapple, some peach, grapefruit, slight mint, a little pine, a hint of biscuity malts, a touch of onion and subtle dankness. Taste of orange, mango, peach, some pineapple, maybe papaya, slight grapefruit, a little pine, a hint of onion and subtle herbal hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A long, fruity hop bitterness in the finish. Lots of tropical fruits, a hint of onion and herbs resulting in a perfectly dank DIPA. Lovely but not as lovely as Humuloid.
