8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.

Go ahead and sink a few, be rude not to really.

Some orange, citrus hops, lime and a sort of chocolate, caramel malt finish. Had a fizzy aftertaste. I didnt really like this to be honest, but the beer was out of date.

Was way past due date. Orange hazy robe. No bubbles. Nose of hops, rye and yeast. Light/medium body with notes of orange and hops, a bit sour. No bitterness (maybe due to date). Quite balanced, misses a hoppy sharpness certainly due to age. Nice.

Very pleasant citrus aroma. Taste is malty and very pleasantly full and again full of citrus. Interestingly smooth, very tasty

Can from the brewery. Just a top quality beer again, the dry hopping coning through with an off note of rye. Starting to think beavertown beers, especially the regulars, taste all rather samey. All great beers but more individuality would be great.
