On tap at the brewery in Tottenham Hale on 25-Mar-2017. Hazy golden amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of sweet fruit, malt and citrus. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is apple, barley, sherbet lemon and malt. Medium sweetness, and slightly tart / sour. An interesting but heavy saison / farmhouse ale.

Key at the brewery. In effect, a sour apple beer. Very decent, nothing mind blowing.

Can from beermerchant. Pours hazy amber/pink. Nose of baked apples, blossom, brown sugar. Taste is apples galore, big yeasty centre, dry tangy finish. A well-rounded apple saison.

Bit unclear, golden colored, small to no off white head, non lasting. Aroma is of some tart apple and spicy yeast, fruity notes. Taste is medium+ sweet malt and apple fruity with some brewing sugar, medium phenolic spicy bitterness with some apple tartness, bit alcohol, some yeast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. (can from the Brewery)

Move over snakebite - this punches a lot harder. Quite sour with distinct aroma of apples against a fruity hop backbone and a little fruit yeast. About as close to cider and beer can respectably be. Interesting ... but I’ll move back to my beer.
