On tap at Fakin Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small pale beige head, light hops and chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, decent herbal hop profile and slightly grapefruity with moderate bitterness. Dry bitter finish. Nice one.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2018 On tap at Fakin bar, Zagreb. Dark brown color with beige head. Roasted malt and caramel aroma with herbal notes. Bitter hoppy taste with some malt sweetnes. Solid BIPA, but there are better ones.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2018 Pour is dark brown with a small tan head, aroma is shed loads of dark tangy berries with loads of hoppy aromas. Taste is roasty malts with some caramel sweetness. A medium bitterness at the back. Lovely dark ipa, combines the bitterness of an ipa with the roasted malts of porters/stouts

Can from JK Fine Foods. An attractive dark ruby brown with a tall creamy light tan head. Nose has plenty of berry fruitiness. A fudgy sweet follow up with a finishing floral bitterness. It’s really nice and all blends beautifully. The flavours have layers of caramel malt touched lightly with roastiness and a zesty fruity balanced bitterness. It feels like it’s pitched perfectly with a refreshing full body and gentle sparkle. A really fragrant, fruity and drinkable BIPA. Yet another superb beer from Beavertown.

Can, courtesy of theydon_bois. Thanks Colin! Medium, tan head on a black body with a red-ish brown body. Orange zest, grapefruit, dark chocolate, fruity coffee, spuce, resin, berries. Soft sweetness, with a slightly tart, lightly bitter finish. Creamy medium body with soft carbonation. There's a lot of good beer around, but it's hard to describe what makes a beer great. But when you have it in front of you, you immediately just know. This beer has "it". It's round, creamy, fruity, well balanced - great stuff.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2018 Can from Hennings Wine Merchants in Goring. This is a tasty black IPA. Nice artwork on the can, as you’d expect from Beavertown. Pours black with a thick, creamy beige head. The aroma is rich and plummy with grassy notes. Tastes roasty and bitter with stone fruit.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja and Marko. Dark brown to black, small off-white head. Moderately to heavily hoppy, intense. Herbal candy, light liquorice. Nicely balanced with roasty. Light to medium bitterness. Smooth texture, slightly reminding of herbal liquor, but with moderate alcohol, of course. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Very nice.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 Tap at Fakin. Very dark brown, almost black, small white head. Dark malts, blueberry, resin, soft, sweetish, well balanced between hoppiness and maltiness. Soft taste, mild roast, peppery herbal touches, piney, blueberry, ending dry. Nearly perfect harmony. Solid bitterness. Excellent BIPA!!!
